Recently my 2004 Prius has not been regenerating properly. I use Priidash to monitor how many amps are being sent to the traction battery and it's usually 1-100 amps but now it won't regen more than 30 amps at any SOC. Also, for the first 60seconds the car is on the engine will not go faster than idle unless I give 50% power. The engine will stay at 1100 rpm and the battery will drain down to two bars. Any ideas?

Wow, so you are saying that you need a lot of power (the first 60 seconds of running) to accelerate just to move the car? Have you had any codes pop up on the dash? I wonder if this would be a traction battery charging issue....

However, have you checked your voltages on the 12V battery? This could potentially cause some issues with the vehicle.
