I thought that the one for the Plug-in was supposed to easily fold back to expose the charger storage area. I don't see any locking seam or joint in the picture. Am I just missing it, or is there no joint or fold? (It looks like the one I bought for the regular Prius, except mine has the fold further back to fit the larger cargo area lift panel in the hatchback.)

no seam or fold, but its still pretty easy to get into the storage compartment...

Thanks very much, drash. That snag would drive me crazy too. I am leaning toward the all-weather cargo mat, I think.

As you can tell it also doesn't lay flat. Lots of rolls and ripples. I was real tempted to iron it.

    :(

The WeatherTech mats aren't very good for the PiP... The driver mat doesn't fit the twist-locks (not even close) so the mat sits on top (and tends to slide around too)... The passenger and back mats seem to fit pretty well... As for the cargo mat, that "almost" fit like a glove, but on the right side of the mat (next to the right rear wheel well), it was a bit off (but off enough to be very noticeable)... Plus the stiffness of the cargo mat made getting into the storage area very difficult... I think I'm gonna give the OEM all-weather mats a try... I'm guessing those "should" fit perfectly.

Your link isnt working. Is it just my internet browser or is the link bad. Can someone share the thread with me?

I just called weathertech and they do not make and have no current plans for making a set for the pip.

Really?? Can you post a couple photos?
So the only issue is the gap where the fuel door release should be on the floor?

I had WeatherTech in my Highlander and really liked it. So, I am definitely interested in the WeatherTech for the PIP Base I have now. Where did you get yours? Reading your posts it seems like a perfect fit for the mats. Do you also have the cargo liner, are you happy with that as well?

You may have bought a mat version specific for the PiP. When I bought mine, there wasn't a PiP specific mat, but AutoAccessoriesGarage.com claimed that the mat would fit. Well, since it didn't (see pic), they gave me a refund. Nevertheless, glad you found WeatherTech mats that fit.

Its because you have the basic all weather weathertech mats not the DigitalFit like we are discussing.
