Car dead, no dash lights on.

    Your now good for at leased another five years. At your low mileage it would be good for the 12v battery if you could put it on a battery tender (charger of not more than 4amps but 1 or 2amps would be fine) every 4 to 6weeks over night just to keep it topped up.

    You've got 5 years & 100000 miles before the last of the warranty expires. The problem with being a Prius Repairman is that there aren't many repairs.

    The 12v Prius battery is a standard Japanese size not readily available in the USA. Optima & the Toyota dealer are the only two in the game.
