Yah, I ordered a calendar also and have been wondering about that. Have not heard much lately. Jan will be gone soon the way time passes anymore. At least we will have some nice Prius pictures but we won't know what day it is.

Congratulations! That's a tall order to live up to. What if you get 48 MPG, which is the average on GreenHybrid.com?

I also kicked around the idea of vanity plates, but my wife said, "Be careful, you might get your car keyed."

Then you say that plate reflects the REALISTIC monthly record you are striving for.

55.1 MPG was the result for me last June, despite the penalty from using E10 for fuel and driving with high-traction tires.

Indeed, ever since moving down here to Arizona, I've been getting from 50 to 55 MPG, and it's December! I might hit 60 in the summer if I don't need the AC too much! :)

 Naaaaa, you won't need to use the cooling in Arizona. Dry heat, ya know.
Reminds me of the tee-shirt which says "Dry heat, my a**!"

My experience so far (since August) has been that the A/C is very detrimental to your mileage. My summer mileage was typically around 52 mpg, and my winter mileage in the 55-65 range. Now one caveat: my summer mileage was during the first 3000 miles and the car has since undergone something of a "3000-mile break-in period" and appears to me to be more efficient, helped in part by a shift in my driving patterns toward more surface-street driving. While I expect this coming Arizona summer to be more efficient than the last, I also expect my FE to drop relative to my present FE.

Back to topic, I think the personalized plates are a fun idea, just not one I'm willing to pay for. Although I envy the Tucson PC member with the license plate "GeekToy"

I think a key is something they used in the old days to make a car go...you know like in the days when you had to get out and crank the car to make it start. :p

Can't imagine 55.1 MPG - I must learn to drive, for sure.
