These puppies are super bright..I was hoping to leave them on at night too, but it may be too much with my headlights. I am also quite partial to my led fog lights and hated losing them. I may keep them and try some different things if they don't go quick...I love to tinker. lol

so your getting rid of them because they don't match your headlights ? do you have stock halogen ?

Also, do you have the nokya led fogs ?

Which wire did you tap the DRL wires to ?

    thanks

I have 5000K HID Morimoto and they match color wise...just too much light...I guess I should have said the light output was too much for me. I use the 18 SMD 5050 H11 bulbs off ebay and while they don't really give any good light...it is a nice clean white that goes well with the headlights and luxr led parking lights. I tapped into the parking lights per Bino's recommendation and it worked great. That connection only powers the led drl while the other lights use their respective oem connections.

    icic, got any pics ?

I think it would be better if you used the L shape leds as the only DRL lights ?

the fogs option to turn on and off to match headlights.

Do the front winker lights match the rear tailights or the jdm side turn signal mirror lights ?

Also are those leds as well and bright ?

I'll take some pics tonight. Yeah..the winker is super cool and matches perfect my Valenti rears and side mirror leds. These definitely should be wired in the way that suits you best. I've just spent too much time lately on my Prius and I need a break! I would definitely wrap these in a flat black or plastic dip if I had the time...I just finished retrofitting the 2012 drink holder and it was a bit hairy doing it blind...but I am happy with the results. :)

There are 2 access panels on either side that are specifically for accesing the fog light area...those were the only ones I pulled down. Pop out the winker and fog light and the new piece pops right in place with tabs. A 10mm nut goes on t heback that holds a bracket which you attach the tiny led ballast too with the supplied ds tape. I zip tied it as well. Then just run the led wires up to the parking light or wherever. plug the oem winker and fog light connections in and that's it.

You have to use a broker. I use Goody Japan as they have been very reliable. You will have to setup an account with them and send them half the amount ($150) to them. They will then purchase the item for you and send it. Costs about $75 extra. Only way to get it that I know of.
