One year waiting period??

    I went to a Toyota dealer in Ottawa, Ontario. The saleman told me that the waiting period for a Prius C4 is ~one year. Is that true??

    yikes! i requested the canadian 'technology' package, which i think equates to the '3' in the states. that said, i put in an order for a silver c, and they were able to bring one in from another dealership within 2 weeks. meanwhile i've heard several stories like yours now... i'm wondering if i just had lucky timing in my request?

    Took me over a month of shopping around to find a C4 in a color I wanted (black, white, or silver). Looked all around the metropolitan area. A lot of times the C4's that came in were for people who already put a deposit down. Put a deposit down at a dealer who promised me 2 days, then 3, then a week, then 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I started looking for myself again. Bought this one a day after it arrived on the lot. Good luck man.

    there are a couple of people on the post "taking delivery hopefully next week" that are from Canada and just made purchases of the Prius C. Take a look!

    waitd6 months total ( they got my first order wrong)
    about 3 1/2 after i ordered mine i got it.

    they had 2 others coming in before mine, but it was the base model and the tech package, i wanted the tech premium package

    search around
    google all the toyota dealerships around depending how far you want to drive to get it, call them all up and see if anyone can get you what you want.
