    I totally dig it. Did you keep the same lugs?

    And which brand of spacers did you buy?

    It's pretty tempting to buy seeing the ft86 forums selling me off like crazy. And I have my Prius five rims as well and wanting to change the look and I suppose the tires will switch right over!

    Just generic white knight 3mm spacers :) ..I'm using the OEM lugs but I know you aren't supposed to...I ordered new ones waiting for them to come in.

    I see that the FRS wheels have a +48mm offset. This would be beneficial from a fuel efficiency standpoint as it keeps the wheels tucked into the wheel well more and out of the airstream. The OE 17" wheels on the Five are a +50mm offset. The further a wheel sticks out of the wheel well the less aerodynamic the car becomes thus lowering fuel efficiency even further than the addition of a 17" tire alone will.

    Just something to think about when adding spacers for the more flush look.

    You need at least a 3mm spacer to clear the calipers (front/rear)...So then the ET offset would be 45mm.

    I'd like to get Bilstein but Bilstein UK have to do a special import from USA, so end up costing an extra $150, H&R are my next best option.

    What kind of drop did you get and what is the ride like compared to stock?

    That would be amazing but the shipping alone from USA to the UK would be rather heigh on its own, putting them a lot more expensive than the H&R's, that are readily available to me over here.

    Question: you mention spacers, due to the +47 offset. But Prius plus wheels have a +43 offset and do not require spacers. So, was there really a clearance issue?

    The FRS wheels have a low disk backpad backpad therefore hit the calipers (both front and rear). Since the hubs on the FRS stick out to give it stability. versus the further sunken in hubs on the prius to make the wheels less stable and use less energy to get to speed, a 3MM min/ spacer is needed to clear the calipers.

    i've bought this.. putting them on next week but my car is in the shop because some one hit me. :(

    so jay... i can do it with 3mm spacers? and i need studs as well? then which studs ( size?) should i buy?

    ah.. one more thing which spring should i buy? suggestions please. im leaning towards tein h tech right now because this web site is local and its only $135.

    Just need the skinnier lugs (without the washers)(to clear the lug holes).and 3mm spacers...stock studs work fine (they still get the req'd amount of turns)
