    at least they did not hit the mirrors....Now you can shop for some more lights !!! I am glad you are ok , all kidding aside.

    Thx........I was thinking the same thing........some how the passenger mirror did get red paint on the cover. No clue how that happened.

    I let my wife read the replies & she said

    "I swear, here I am thankful that nothing happened to my husband & these guys are just like u.......more worried about the lights, mirrors & already think about the retro.......is this all u men think about?"

    I'm glad that you aren't seriously hurt. I had to think to remember that they were talking about your folding wish mirrors. And like Jill said, your aero lip looks intact. what a way to start the weekend.

    I've always thought about getting some sort of vid recorder for the fnt & rare of the car......gonna have to look into this

    OK, so today I swapped out the rear tag bulbs on mine to some LEDs (white). I'm very pleased with the end result. Let me just say, I've been watching how to videos on this forum about the disaster difficulty in getting this done especially the part about removing the huge cover on the tailgate to access the bulbs. I guess I was too dumb to realize those videos were all on pre-current models. Because as I was just giving my cover the first two (hard as hell) tugs (I did a P90X workout already for the night) with what seemed like no success, I noticed two little doors in the middle of the cover :oops: and was like.....Wth! One quick easy squeeze with a flathead screwdriver and those were off, and there it was....quick easy access to the bulbs(y) . I guess Toyota monitors the forums :cautious: and the 2012 model for sure, has these little doors for access to the bulbs without removing that whole panel. Thank God. The bulb holders then twisted out very easily by hand and voila! Magic! I'm pleased. I think I made a good selection on the bulbs too. I wanted something white but not too bright. To look subtle and soft like the OEM Lexus tag lights. Will try to post a pic or two later.:sneaky:
