    HEY THERE PLUS IV !!!

    :):):):)

You can install them separately if you wish !!!

I suggest installing the components one at a time so you can see the difference they make from the beginning !!! I have already felt quite a difference in the way the Prius handles ... more responsive, more stable, and less body roll during cornering.

But you don't have to take my word for it !!!

Contact James or Danh at Tanabe USA for complete information ... Tell them I sent ya !!!

    Have a great weekend !!!

Hope you're all having a great weekend !!!

The latest mod to HB II is here !!!

Headlamp Clear Corner Modification on 08-28-12 !!!

In Japan the Prius Housings have a "Clear" reflector on the sides of the Headlamp Housing. Here in the US ours are Orange with and Orange Bulb. I wanted to achieve the JDM look and without purchasing the JDM Headlamps I decided to Modify the USDM Headlamps instead to mirror the JDM version !!!

Going for this JDM Monochromatic look, I looked to my friend Mike from Tustin Toyota in Tustin, CA and he was responsible for this great new modification !!!

    :):):):)

    Story below ...

Before removal of the Headlamps, masking was added to ensure a safe and scratch free process ...

    Removed !!!

In order to access the orange reflector within, we used a heat gun to carefully heat the original seal in order to separate the black housing from the clear lens ...

This was the most time consuming part of this process as we didn't want to break either parts and keep the seal undisturbed as much as possible.

After careful separation all pieces were accessible ...

    The Housing

The Inner Housing which was contained with the Clear Lens and Orange Reflector

The Orange Reflectors (Pryed away from the Inner Housing)

    The Clear Lens

    Before

    After

Then after resealing and re-installation of the Headlamp Assemblies the task was complete !!!

(Here are pictures *without* the Toyota JDM Headlamp Eyelids installed)

And here are pictures *complete* with the Toyota JDM Headlamp Eyelids installed !!!

I am very pleased with this latest modification to HBII !!!

I am also happy to report that there are NO LEAKS and NO CONDENSATION in both headlamp housings after washing the vehicle the evening after !!! Success achieved !!!

Many thanks to Mike from Tustin Toyota, in Tustin, CA for his tremendous work and professional care throughout the installation !!!

I'm enjoying this JDM look of the Clear, Chrome, and Monochromatic look !!!

Stay tuned for another great JDM Modification already in the works !!! Coming Soon !!!

Have a great weekend folks !!!

I love those headlight covers I wish they werent so darn expensive. I cant justify spending that kind of money on a mod thats going to require me to modify my headlights lol. Good job.

HEY THERE PRIUS CHAT FOLKS !!!

    :):):):)

The latest JDM shipment from JAPAN has Arrived !!!

That great day happened on 09-03-12 !!!

Manufactured Exclusively by Toyota Japan and ordered via KYOEI-USA came the JDM Deluxe Half Seat Covers !!!

These Half Seat Covers are represented amongst clientele from Taxi Cabs AND Dignitaries !!! They add a Classy touch to the Interior of the Vehicle.

These are made of White Lace material so care must be taken during installation and during use.

Though not everyone's cup of tea, this made a wonderful addition and modification to the HB II Prius as I will be displaying these at Car Shows here in California !!! With the current black Clazzio Leather interior this item makes the interior more luxurious and adds a brighter touch !!!

    Let's Begin ...

There are 2 Available Pattern Designs from Toyota ... Both the Deluxe and the Basic. I ordered the Deluxe Version.

**Please Note that the JDM Prius Rear Headrests are Smaller than the US Version. Therefore, I purchased 2 Sets as I wanted to Customize the second set of Front Headrests to accommodate the US larger version Rear headrests.**

The Arrival from Japan from Toyota via Kyoei in Kyoto ...

    SRS AIR BAG COMPLIANT !!!

    **PLEASE NOTE**
(Because in Japan the Prius is Right Hand Drive, here in the US we must switch the Front Seat Covers to accommodate for the correct location of the Airbags so that deployment is unobstructed.) There are "Toyota SRS Airbag" Labels on the product, they MUST FACE pointing toward the Door in order to comply.

Nice! Thanks for sharing Rodney. I thought about getting these after seeing oil stains left from the hair of some of the passengers I've hauled around . It's good to see the patterns up close and personal.

Newly installed in the HB II Ride is the AIR MOVE Seat Cushion from www.MORE-JAPAN.com !!!

Installed on 09-12-12 the AIR MOVE makes a great addition to your Daily Driven Prius, just like mine !!!

With great Back and Postural support, the AIR MOVE reduces fatigue while driving.

Here are some shots during the installation !!!

    The AIR MOVE !!!

    Included Tool ...

    Let's Begin !!!

    Remove the Headrest ...

Position the AIR MOVE'S Fastening System over the Headrest Pole Insertion Holes ...

Insert but do not lower Headrest at this time ...

You must slide the AIR MOVE through the fastening system to adjust the height and to accommodate distance for the lower seat tuck in padding ...

Tuck in firmly to secure between the Seat Top and Bottom portions ...

Then returning to the Headrest location utilizing the provided Philips screwdriver, tighten the screws to ensure a fastened and secure AIR MOVE.

Then you can lower the Headrest !!!

    And you're COMPLETE !!!

All in all another GREAT modification to the HBII ride. I would recommend this item as I Daily Drive my Prius and this helps me maintain a Great Posture with Added Back Support !!!

    HEY PRIUS CHAT FOLKS !!!

    :):):):

Another great update to the HB II Ride is here !!!

I have originally installed the OGS IP SWITCH back in April 2011. That item was made specifically for the Japanese Domestic Market for RHD (Right Hand Drive) Prius.

Here is the original post :

JDM / Japanese VIP Styling: My Prius III Build | Page 22 | PriusChat

And now finally this great product EXCLUSIVELY from www.MORE-JAPAN.com is the OGS IPS Switch made SPECIFICALLY for the LHD (Left Hand Drive) vehicles !!! Compared to the original RHD (Right Hand Drive) product, this will follow the same shift pattern as OEM here in the US !!!

In the past I believe folks here would try to open the back of the product and rewire it to accommodate the LHD.

There is NO NEED to do that here and this manufactured directly from OGS !!!

Distributed Exclusively for More-Japan.com this is a Simple Plug & Play installation !!!

    Here are the pix !!!

    LHD Instruction leaflet :

    Plug and Play !!!

Here's the Previously Installed RHD OGS IPS ...

And the Newly Installed LHD OGS IPS !!!

(Due to lighting the colors didn't come out so great, but you can still program the color of the buttons !!!)

Coming soon the folks from More Japan :: Since 2003 will be presenting a thorough installation on YouTube !!!

    Here's a Sneak Peek with DANH !!!

For more Information and Pricing contact either DANH or JAMES at www.MORE-JAPAN.com !!!

    Happy Prius Modding Folks !!!
