Drone mobile remote starter anyone ?

    i'm looking to install the drone mobile remote starter.

    looking at their website, the basic package includes the following for $350

    What's Included:
    does anyone know if these other items are important for the install as well ?

    Has anyone here installed yet ?

    any comments or feedback would greatly be appreciated.

    It depends on what functions you want. You can have a remote start stand alone, remote start and security, etc.

    If you want to simply retain the OEM keyfob and have the addtional ability to use your smartphone to lock/unlock and remote start your car then the. Remote start standalone setup will do just that.

    You or your install will need to purchase an install a bypass kit which can retail anywhere from $30-$80. The purpose of the bypass kit is to allow your remote start system to override the requirement for your keys to be near or in your car prior to start it.


    Read up on the thread below for more information. The link discusses the Viper SmartStart system, but is very similar to the Drone Mobile system by Compustar.
