Just checked out that Rakuten site but they only ship within Japan. To order from the US, you need a forwarding service and there's all sorts of fees. In the end, shipping might be $150+ with freight, customs and duties, and processing fees the forwarder service they're saying to use has. Probably around $660+ when all is said and done.

The Great folks from www.MORE-JAPAN.com will be releasing a YouTube video on both the Newest OGS Featured Products coming soon !!!

The videos will demonstrate both the Benefits and Features of the OGS IP Switch and the OGS Multi Function Paddle System. When they are up, I will post both the links for all !!!

In regards to Pricing and Availability for these items :

OGS IP Switch : LHD Exclusive - $320 / Available Late October 2012

    ALOHA PRIUS CHAT FRIENDS !!!

    :):):):)

Latest Mod to the HB II ride came on 09-13-12 !!!

Inspired by the latest BMW rides, I personally installed the LED Door Handle Lighting !!!

I had previously installed the JDM Side Mirror Combination Lighting (Flasher / Position / Door Entry) which were tapped into the Dome Lights. I then tapped into that wiring to work in conjunction with the new LED Door Handles !!!

Here are just some of my pics during and after the installation !!!

    Unmodified Front Door Handle ...

I used my Dremel to drill a hole just enough so that the wiring would fit perfectly. I also used Silicone to help seal the installation to prevent water from entering into the hole.

Here is a picture of the LED Light & Wiring from the outside. The LED came with double sided tape to help secure it on the Door Handle.

I removed the Door Panels to access the Door Handles from the inside.

Here are pictures of the LED Wiring fished through the hole and I secured them with zip ties so as not to be in the path of the Glass Window. You must allow enough wire so as not to obstruct the path of the window when rolled down.

    Front Door Handle :

    Rear Door Handle :

Once all the wiring was secured and connected here are the final pictures at night !!!

    Complete !!!

I purchased these 1" LED strips from www.VLEDS.com. They are the 6000k White LEDs.

I'm very pleased with this latest BMW inspired Modification, Safety and Security now ready for the night !!!

    Happy Prius Modding Folks !!!

The Latest Modification Arrived on 09-17-12 !!!

From www.CARID.com I ordered the Wood Trim Kits for both the Front and Rear Doors !!!

I had previously installed the Dash Trim Kit and so the addition of the Front and Rear Door Kits complete the set !!!

I chose the Birds Eye Maple Wood to match what I had initially installed. I like the Birds Eye Maple color and design as it most closely resembles the wood found on Lexus models, in my opinion. Paired with the Black Clazzio Leather and the Toyota Bisque interior this complements and completes the look of the interior !!!

Here are pictures from that afternoon of Delivery and Installation :

    HEY PRIUS CHAT FOLKS !!!

September 28, 2012 marked the Installation Day for the TRD Rear Anti-Sway Bar !!!

    From TRD Direct !!!

There are currently Two Anti-Sway Bars that fit the Third Generation Prius :

TRD / Prius Plus Performance - WHITE Finish - Part Number : PTR11-47010
    TRD / 2008 Scion xB - RED Finish - Part Number : PTR11-52091

I installed the TRD Rear Sway Bar for the 2008 Scion xB. I wanted to continue with the Red Theme underneath the vehicle. The Third Generation Prius shares the same Rear Suspension as the 2008 Scion xB. It fit perfectly with NO modifications.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO (Prius vs. xB) :

    White vs. Red

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

Apparently the same between both the Prius and Scion xB.

Many thanks to Prius Chat Member : Dark_matter_doesn't for his detailed DIY instructions for the TRD Scion xB Anti-Sway Bar for the 3rd Generation Prius :

DIY - Gen III Rear Anti-Sway Bar Install | PriusChat

    BENEFITS :

"Engineered to enhance handling characteristics, the rear sway bar helps provide a flatter, more firm cornering stance. The sway bar also helps deliver greater control while maintaining secure handling of the vehicle’s original steering and suspension systems. Constructed of high-quality spring steel."

    DIY INSTALLATION :

Because of Dark_matter_doesn't and his great DIY, I am NOT including one here, I am however sharing pictures during my installation :

I personally could not tell the difference between the two Rear Anti Sway Bars !!!

Overall I am very pleased with the TRD Rear Anti-Sway Bar and am excited and rest assured of the many benefits that come along with this great Upgrade for the HBII Ride !!!

Thanks for allowing me to compare both of them together Kevin !!!

Hawaiianbuilt...mind disclosing how much your rear sway bar cost w/ S&H and where you purchased it? Is there a price difference between the scion vs. prius versions?

    Thanks in advance.
