Just fyi, everyone who purchased the toyota extended car warranty when at the dealer when buying their new car wasted 3 years worth of it towards the stock oem one..

    I paid 1500 dollars for 5 years /100k and got back 1400 because i didn't cancel within 60 days..

Every day you have this contract in effect you waste money.

call 800-228-8559 and ask them yourself

    what a joke

I just got mine yesterday, why is it a waste of money? Seems like being a brand new model and with all of the components on it that it could pay for itself. I expect to put about 45k miles on it in 2.5 years and expect to sell it around then. I should get about $700 back at that point and so I'm essentially paying $700 to guarantee that any non-defect issue is covered. Not bad for a little peace of mind.

you didn't need to buy it now.. you could have bought it when your oem one was about to run out and you would have saved the money of being double covered .. like you are right now.. it cost me about 75 dollars for 2 months. and during that 2 months I had the stock standard oem warranty also... i didn't need 2 of em

No, what you bought was for the 2 years/64000 miles on the 3/36000 parts, 0 years/40000 miles on the 5/60 parts and nothing on the hybrid parts. I do agree with your conclusion.
