In addition, the reverse camera isn't working and the car won't turn off. I did finally get the car off using the "hold down the power button until it switches off" method.

Had this problem for the first time last week. Drove it to a Toyota Service place. They told me the hatch had been left cracked and had drained the battery. They charged the battery and sent me on my merry way.

Then it happened again this afternoon. I checked ALL doors and the hatch. Everything was closed tightly, the overhead and headlights were both off.

Has anyone else had this problem? What am I supposed to do?

I would strongly recommend you not install a NEW instrument cluster. It would make a dealership some good revenue at your expense.

The symptoms you have are classic for a defective instrument cluster, however, the best way to fix it is to have your OLD instrument cluster repaired. You might want to see if there is an independent hybrid repair shop like mine near you.
