Thanks. I've grown to like them more and more every day. I think I'm keeping them like that until it either fades or doesnt look as nice.

So how easy is it to remove plastic dip? Also, did you prep the wheels or put primer on before applying the PD?

Its really easy to remove. I had originally done it on my emblems and didnt like the way it came out. So I just peeled it off and redid them. Its really just like peeling plastic off something new.
No prep is needed, but I did hand wash and dry the rims beforehand. You dont want to primer them as that would mess up the rims. You just have to put 3 or more coats on each rim.

How far we have fallen. Used to be "I've got a 59' Chevy with a 396, Fuely heads and a Hurst on the floor." Now its "I've got a 2012 Pri with a Hybrid to boot and plasti dip on my wheels.":(

lol, as long as it makes us happy, I'm all for it. I actually started out with a 59 Bel Air, then had a 78 Z28 Camaro (in high school). And while those made me happy, the mpg was horrible. I eventually had to sell because of that. The 15 mile commute to and from college was too much to bear. So while it doesn't sound as "manly" to talk about plasti dip compared to Hurst Shifters, cams, and horsepower, it still tweeking a vehicle to ones liking.

We humans have cars on Mars now. In the early 70s, we even drove cars on the moon. Daytona, Indy, Top Fuel Dragsters, Planes traveling in excess of Mach 3, etc... We have already proven that we are capable of producing vehicles to get us anywhere, at insane speeds. That's right, been there done that. I yawn every time I hear a car commercial bragging about their new vehicle that produces more HP that last year's model.

However, we are still far from perfecting efficency. If we, the human race, put even half of the effort into perfecting efficency when it comes to modes of travel that we put into building a vehicle with yet more horsepower, we would all be driving cars that got at least 200mpg.
