I'm looking to purchase a prius and was wondering when the 2013 models were going to hit the dealerships? I want to see what the new persona is going to look like and see if it's worth spending an additional $1700.

I too am waiting to hear when the 2013s will be announced and what the changes will be - probably not much, but I would imagine at least something - new colors?, hi/low heat adjustments on the level 4 heated seats? ....I am curious where you heard of an additional $1700?

Not sure if the persona series is worth the extra $1700. I hadn't seen the pics before so thank you. I didn't want leather seats. I think I'll just stick with a regular model and spend the extra money on a solar roof. But it still appears that no one knows when the dealers will start getting the 2013's on their lots?

I saw the build out/delivery dates, but we're in Nov. I was looking for a firm date.

If you don't want leather or the 17" wheels then it is not for you. :) Just get a Three with Solar Roof!

Check your local Toyota Dealer's specific websites. Both the Pasadena and Manhattan Beach California dealers have the 2013 Prius in stock.

You are right. Toyota Pasadena has a few 2013's in stock. The Prices appear to be about the same as 2012, and the wheel covers look better.

    Correction 11/14-
I saw a live 2013 Pri today; the wheels and covers are the same deeb ones. Really look the same as a 2012. The dealer has more 2012 Pri on the lot than I've ever seen, probably doing some good deals. Maybe I should have waited to trade up now. :(

The funny thing is, the Toyota web site still shows 2012 when you go to look at the various configurations. I believe that in past years, the website was behind the actual model year release. I'm most curious about whether there are any new colors, and would also like to drop into a local dealer and test drive the new Persona when they have one in hand.
