    On Sept 5th, 2012, I paid:

    Model: Prius Plugin 2012 Base
    MSRP Window Sticker: $32,000 + $760 delivery = $32,760
    My price: $29,500
    Mats: $225
    MSRP Warranty: 8 year 125,000: $2700?
    My Warranty price: $1500
    Post NYS tax: $35,000

New York State tax @ 8.875&: roughly $2900

Day before purchase, one dealer originally offered $2350 off to make $35,900 out the door. Next day, another dealer said she was given an additional $2000 rebate, and then beat his price to give me an out the door price of $35,000 (roughly $3250 under) even, $0 down, 0% APR financed.

Thank you! So far the Mass deal is still on since we got the paperwork started before 11/05. But I don't have the PIP in the driveway, so I may still need a good lead on a deal :) I'm going to check out Darcars.

NY metro now has 4000 cash back on purchase. No surprise given how many cars were still on the lots.

Maryland, Virginia, and Mass too have the rebates of $4000 for base and $5000 for advanced until 12/03. Looks like the 0% fromTFS is still good too. The finance manager in Boston did not call me back today like promised. My business may be going to Baltimore.

It looks like they did up the rebate on the base model by $500. So, now $4000 off the base. Good thing they didn't raise the advance since I purchased it a couple days ago.

Wow! You're going to have to put on a lot of miles annualy to have that $540 a year service policy make sense. Is there any mileage limit? Even if the dealer charges $100 for each 10K service, and $50 for the 5K, (both high estimates) you'll have to put on close to 50K miles a year to make it worthwhile.
But congrats on your good deal and your new car, and welcome to Prius Chat. :)

I'm a little confused here. What was out of door price you paid for the car (without toyota care and all incentives numbers) ?

Also, 'sweetie', I think "Sticker" in the survey refers to MSRP (the window sticker price) before any negotiations or incentives, etc. Other states don't all have the green stickers for HOV lanes like we have here in Ca.

I can locally lease a base PiP now for $270/month for 3 years, $0 down, just tax/tag/title out the door. That is an incredible price for this thing. I would jump on this without question if I wasn't upside down on my other vehicle (not the Leaf)'s lease, so I gotta ride it out ;)

Up here in the northwest I don't see any specials for the Prius Plug In. I did notice on cars.com great
deals in Maryland for about $26,000.00 for a 2012 Plug in. Here in this area the price is more like $32,000.00
If I could buy one here for $26,000.00 plus get a federal tax credit of $2,500.00 that would bring
the price down to $23,500.00 and there is no sales tax in Oregon.

Also electric rates are far less than other areas per kilowatt because of hydro power.

I have not tried yet but I am sure the Toyota Dealers in this area will not match Maryland's prices.

TFS is offering a 1,500 rebate + 0% financing. Lithia Toyota in Springfield, which is where I got the car, is also offering a $2,500 discount on all their Toyotas. That won't get you Maryland prices – you're looking at ~$29k after the destination charge, coming down to $26.5k after the Federal rebate – but it's certainly less than the $32k you're seeing.

I just bought one PIP this weekend.

Base price: $31,965 (includes destination fee, and extra for the white color)
    Toyota rebate: $1,000
    Total: $30,965

Since the rebate is applied after tax and fees, I don't like the salesman always put it as the purchase price in the quote.
