With the recent weather we've been having I finally got around to installing my yellow fogs to compliment the HIDs. LOVE them!
Looking around here for my next mod:)

What brand bulbs did you get? I got the Nokya yellow bulbs and because of the heat they were giving off it made a spider web effect to the lens. Hopefully you didn't get those. I took them out immediately.

Had the turn signal mirrors installed by Tommy at Music Box. Stoked on this mod!

Yeah man, Tommy is legit. He did all the work on my IS350 when I had it and will be doing most of the mods for my PIP. Highly recommended.

I'm just using the bulbs that came with the kit. They do feel pretty warm but as cheap as the fog kit was I'm really not worried about it.

BTW, he only does the install. You'll need to get the turn signals through eBay.

Damn rattles and noises are back! Grr

I wonder if they would go away with 15" tires. Hmm maybe I need to photoshop a set of PIP wheels on my car.

theretrofitsource's quick prius retro kit. my prius has auto on/off that really screws up the hid kit that i have. then my driverside bulb and/or ballast have been burnt out for 3 weeks now. And I haven't been satisfied with the light output (or lack thereof).

Just curious as I also have auto on/off and HIDs as to what sort of problems it's caused. I don't drive much at night so I'm just wondering.

do you have a relay? my kit doesn't. whenever my hid turns on, there is a loud electrical zap as it tries to power. the zap is different than the hum/buzz of the ballast. to test this: toggle between off, auto on, on, high beam. let me know what happens. maybe its only my car.

Here is something you have to watch out for with that installation location. I was on my way home from work and I went passed a library. There was a crosswalk where two people were walking in dark clothing. It just so happened that the two people were right in line with the pillars surrounding the small driver's side triangular window which is where I had my Ultra Gauge mounted. I did not see them (dark out) and proceeded to go from a stop. Luckily, I did see them in time and stopped. The moral of my story is that even though that window is very small, it does provide some visibility. In looking at your setup, it looks like your view through that window is completely blocked. Just a word of warning!

My kit does use a relay. Maybe that's why I haven't experienced any issues with mine.
