Has anyone used tire chains on their Prius plugin, their doesn't seem to be alot of room around the
front tires. I'm worried if they fit initially then loosen over time they will hit.?????

  3. Before you drive in snow, put chains on one wheel in garage. Take up slack with rope or a bungee. I have been using the same chains on my last 4 cars.

That sound like a good idea, I haven't even taken them out of the bag they came in yet. I suppose as long as they stay tight all is well.

  5. Right, you'll know right away if they are going to work.

  7. You have to come to CA if you want snow, of course you must put on chains over our mountain passes. As a result I dont have the slightest idea of the Prius traction in snow.
