Weird... The first day of having the Prius, the MPG fluctuated from 10 to 70MPG easily....

However, for the last two days the MPG has been stuck at 37MPG. When I turn the car on it says 37MPG, then at the end of my trip it still says 37MPG or sometimes it will display 37.3 or so. It didn't matter if I was driving on surface street or highway, it says 37MPG. I don't drive the car hard or anything. Could it be that the car is still in the break in period? I will get better MPG on my second pump of gas?

Currently it has 200 Miles on the car.

Sounds like you are stuck on a certain trip on your odometer. Hit the trip button to see "from start" and see your current trip.

Yeah, sounds like you're on trip 1 or trip 2. Toggle to the ODO reading and it will show your current trip.

Thanks guys, I will find out in a bit when I get into my car. Meanwhile I have a quick question.

If I'm stuck on a trip then why does it jump from 37.00 to 37.3?

Hmm hopefully you don't have that ECU problem a few of the earlier cars had. Their mpg was in the high 30s.
