    Simple!
You register and every time you fuel up your vehicle (In this case your Prius but you can certainly set up multiple fuelly profiles for each vehicle you fuel up in your household!) you enter the miles traveled, the gallons the car took at that fill up and the price per gallon.

Fuelly will track all kinds of beautiful data for you...best mpg on a tank, worst, avg price per gallon paid, avg miles per tank traveled, etc. You can make notes at each fillup and I like to put what the MFD said my average mpg was and where I fueled up at.

I like the line graph that tracks your mpg's..mine looks like a heartbeat taken off an EKG monitor....lol You can customize your fuelly page to show all kinds of different parameters, for a nerd like me thats a bonus :D

I'd been tracking mileage in a spreadsheet for about a year before I started with Fuelly. Managed to tweak a copy of the spreadsheet into a format that allowed me to enter all the accumulated data in one go.

Yes, good site. Also, you are contributing to a community of knowledge regarding your vehicle, can see where you are in comparison to others.

Yeah, my line is going down as well... So not liking cold weather MPGs. I run the heat just to defog the windows... And yesterday during shopping and on my way to a coffee date, the damn hot flash detector came on! (Sound of my head hitting the dashboard....)

Ocean Eyes - how do you import the Fuelly box to this forum? I can't seem to figure it out!

I thought that there was a box on the fuelly page either at the bottom or the right side that provided links. You simply copy the link that fuelly supplies you for forums, and paste it in your signature line in your profile.

Edit: I just signed into fuelly. Once you get to your profile and scroll down a bit, on the right side you'll see this:

Log into Fuelly.com and click on your Prius. When looking at the details for your Prius fuel usage, look on the right hand side of the screen and scroll down. There is a "Share Your MPG" link there. On that page there are a ton of links you can copy and add into your PriusChat Signature. Goto the top of this page and goto the drop down menu under your username. There is a Signature option there. Paste in the link(s) from Fuelly.com. Done.

Today's fuel up should be interesting... I've passed the 2500K mark on the odometer, the tank is below half and I have 30 cents off a gallon in Stop & Shop points :D - I love the program but have to make sure there is a Shell station nearby.

I was doing a bit better MPG wise... one day at 54, but still averaging 45-48...

    Fuelly will tell....

On the page with your car's info on fuelly.com, there are a series of small icons, one of which is a yellow shield. Click on it and you'll be presented with a page of sample code for you car you want the one that is the bb format rather than the html based on my experimenting [IMG]
