New at Hybrid World and i need an advice from you....

Looks like a headlamp sitting on the cowl area and open hood to me.

 

It is difficult to give an accurate opinion without seeing the car it's self, but that damage does not look that much.

Aftermarket front wings are quite cheep as are headlamps. It does not look like there is any suspension damage and the airbags are all intact "a good sign".

Pity it's the US version with the coolant thermos and bladder in the fuel tank but apart from that it looks ok. Good luck with the rebuild.

Just pulled the service history for your car and it's quite good . Eleven services by Victory Toyota the last one at 110668 miles on 31/08/2012. If you wish I can try and post it online.

 

Looks like the damage is at the left front corner. Is there a picture of that corner? Is the car already being shipped? If not you might consider having it inspected/repaired in the US before shipping it. Some of the parts on this car are different then the Prii sold in Jordan. I would imagine you might have trouble getting parts for this Prius.

I think the biggest problem with differences will be with ECU's, body panels and suspension/steering parts are much the same. Brake differences amount to rear drums instead of discs but other Toyota's will use the same setup or Euro discs could easily be added if problems arise.

Gen2 Prius (2004 to 2009) body parts are the same.

 

ECU means "electronic control unit". Some of the US ECU's have slightly different programs for things like the thermos hot coolant storage and the fuel tank bladder system that were not used in the European versions of the car.

 

Please re open the service history report to make sure you got the correct one as at first I posted the wrong one.

 

One of the things that you will find buying a US Prius is the display will give you miles per gallon (US gallon) that is smaller than the imperial gallon. If you use liters the conversion is not the same:-

4.55 liters = 1 imperial gallon
3.785 liters = 1 US gallon
