SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 - anyone have one yet? work well with ENTUNE?

    The bottom line is that Toyota has chosen (like a lot of other vendors), to not support Blackberry any more. Despite what that chart shows, I haven't found any aspect of message alert that does not work properly and completely with my Torch 9850. And while Toyota has declined to release an Entune app for BB OS 7, side-loading the Storm 9530 version works just fine with all the Entune apps, including the only one I really care about, Pandora. They just don't want to bother "certifying" for OS7 phones.

    I loved my windows mobile, but had to realize that the future is apple or android .... I chose android.

    I thought I'd add my two cents here. I got the S3 (MetroPCS version) I have noticed that "new text message" comes on the HU. I see no option to read them though. (that's a good thing because nobody should be reading texts while driving):D

    Press the Phone icon to the right of the screen. Then select Messages from the screen menu. This will bring up your text messages. Select a new message and it will be read to you.

    great! learned something new on PCH. Now I can view my messages on my HU and narrowly miss the car comming in the opposite direction:whistle:

    You can't actually see the message when the car is moving. Priya reads them to you ... At least on the advanced!

    But I don't use it for that because Priya reads them to you. Works flawlessly with Note 2.

    Well then I got a defective PIP because I was in passenger seat while my son was driving and viewed my messenges while the car was moving at 45 mph

    Must be because you got the "lower animal" base model, should have stepped up and got the advanced and then big bother helps protect you from crashing :)

    Update: checked the functions, I can see the text's but while moving, the scroll button is grayed out. And when I attempt to send an pre-selected text generated by Toyota it comes back with the message "idiot!" you can't text and drive! (or something to that effect;))
