So far she's riding fine and even tho freshly minted, she's getting est. 53 mpg.
8 miles on the odometer upon pickup. Handles bumps way better than Consumer Reports led on. Outward visibility is nice too - took off the rear headrests and put them in the hatch for use when needed.

The middle one you will never know its there. The side ones fit great under the driver seat and passenger seat.

Congrats on the new car. :)

As you may find on the Consumer Reports thread on this site, most people found their evaluation on the Prius C ridiculous and unfounded.

    Congrats!

I totally agree! Very fun to drive! I always want to take mine out for a spin, and I need to remember that I leased the thing so I can't just go on a long drive to anywhere. I should have bought it! :)

UPDATE took the Prius C out for a day trip today. About 100 miles total. The relatively firm ride improves with additional passengers. Had two adults with me in the car today, much smoother. MPG for 100 mile trip in hilly SW Wisconsin 51 mpg! Was 82 and sunny here, a/c had no trouble keeping it chilly in the Prius C.

The A/C system works almost too well, add to the fact that the cabin space is small so I only let it run for a few minutes then shut it off. Same with the heater, thing gets hot fast!

Too humid here to consider turning the A/C off in this weather, but I am happy with how it performs.

We hit a freakishly high 106.5°F here during the week and it did alright. I normally set the climate control to 21°C (70°F) initially but when I get comfortable I might dial it up to 22 or 23°C (73.4°F).

Wow, Australia is cooking right now! Does Santa wear board shorts, sunglasses and a tank top?

Had mine a week now and I can't believe how cool it is in stop & go traffic, thing literally costs nothing when you're sitting there. The Prius is my commuter...my Jeep is now my toy and go-to when snow piles high.

We've luckily have some milder weather and I've backed off the A/C a little, but the forecast is warming up, with Friday 100°F or more again. We seldom get highs at these levels in Sydney. Most of the miles on my current tank were from last Friday - my brother and sister-in-law up in the mountains freaked out about the bushfire danger (though they really weren't in a trouble spot) and I had to go up and drive them and the dog down here. A/C was on for the entire marathon drive and I'm currently running 4.0 l/100km indicated (58.8 MPG) over what's approaching 400 miles so far on this tank.

As for Christmas in Australia... not sure how well this translates into North American English, but this is how it goes down:
