I'll do the 5k service myself. It was -15F here last night, -9F now, heading to -20 or so tonight and that stuff is heading your way [IMG]

Best to park the car until May and let the truck take the beating all winter :)

    Love that laughing emoticon!

The truck gets to do the dirty work... had to fill the diesel tank today after almost two months and after filling the Prius it seemed to take an eternity... and took a helluva chunk out of the bank account....:( I might have muttered something like "Are you done yet?!"

It was 55 F here yesterday so both vehicles got washed and dried, vacuumed and the interiors wiped down.

Hey Mike. 5K service, top the fluids off, rotate tires, alignment, inspect the car, inflate tires. Cost is Free. I like getting the service on the car's permanent record on time as it reduces hageling when I sell the car.

55 degrees [IMG] I'd be wearing shorts & a T shirt :) I just smile at the pump all winter and dream of spring time and driving my car again. It's a normal winter ritual for me to park my summer car and drive the gas hungry SUV until spring. I put LRR tires on my SUV last summer so it is getting about 4 mpg better this winter than last winter. Any little thing to help mpg's when they are under 20 mpg normally will make a big difference in the pocket book. Meaning extra donuts when I fill her up [IMG]

It's 30 miles to the dealer thru the big city. I'll do that stuff before she rolls out of my garage this spring and that way there is no chance of dirty hands or cloths getting inside my car ;)

Coming from upstate NY 55F is t-shirt weather... I'm still good to 12F in a hoodie, hat and gloves for outdoor chores.

In my office I was accused of dressing like it was summer since I had short sleeves on and the heat turned down to 68 which is still too warm in my book. Which is why I guess I was able to take that dip in the 30 degree ocean water a few weeks ago...;)

There was a Arctic Plunge somewhere around here a few weeks ago. They take chainsaws and carve out holes in a lake and put ladders in so people can climb out after they take a cool swim. There are rescue people in dry suits ready to pull people out as needed ;)

:ROFLMAO: I don't think you saw me! Other than Hurricane Sandy, Rhode Island does not usually make the news.

I jumped the countdown and was in the water before most, hidden by the folks behind me... and was one of the last out. Most folks by then were running away from the water and wind to get something warm to wear and eat.

Plus, I would think plunging in a frozen Wisconsin lake would be more hard core than the ocean.:)
