So... There is my list. I am sure there is something I missed but it pretty complete. I really wanted to use the stock antennas so I didn't have to run new ones so I first started with taking a picture so I could compare. I found they make an antenna adapter for the XM radio (SFA12F) but could not find a perfect one for the GPS.

Attach all wires. A couple hints. Connect: pink to green/black wire of the ASWC and baby blue to green/orange wire of the ASWC. Then connect the 3.5mm to 2 wire adapter and connect the brown wire from the ASWC to the remote wire input on the Kenwood harness. I also recommend manual programming as I could not get it to recognize the right radio. See pages 8-11 in http://assets.sonicelectronix.com/manuals/metra/aswc.pdf

Next, I attached the brackets from the stock stereo onto the kenwood. It is a direct fit and even has alignment pins to make sure they are lined up.

Next, take the trim piece that was included with the stereo and trim it to fit into the remaining space.

Now, place the trim back over the top. At this point you can be done or keep going.

Now I used hot glue and some black ABS cement to glue the 2 pieces together.

I used Plastic Putty and filled in the spaces to smooth out the spaces between the two trim plates then waited for it to dry and sanded out the bumps.

Prime with a high build primer and sand smooth.

    All done.

For the speakers, see prius C speaker size | PriusChat for the door panel removal instructions.

The biggest part is drilling out the rivets and making the speaker trim ring. I made mine at 8" exterior and then cut around the screw holes to make it fit behind the door panel. I only needed 1/2" think wood but wanted to waterproof it so I used ABS Plastic cement and coated the whole piece of wood. Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the process put here is a pic of it mounted.

The next thing was to duplicate the tweeter mount. I used plastic, traced the other bracket and cut it out. Then mounted my tweeter to it and ran the wires.

Lastly I mounted the crossovers under the seat and the sirius under the other seat. Best of all, I didn't block any of the vents so the back seat is still comfortable.

If I am wrong, someone please correct me.
    1. Reverse signal wire (I think... There is only one thin pink wire plugged in)
    2. Reverse camera (Nothing plugged in on mine so once again, I think)
    3. Jumper cable to 11
    4. XM Radio Antenna
    5. Power, Ground, Speaker output, (normal wiring on any install kit)
    6. Jumper cable to 11
    7. Steering wheel remote input, Aux 3.5mm input, Powered Mic Input (4 wires) and I am sure other things.
    8. Antenna AM/FM
    9. GPS Antenna
    10. USB Header
    11. Jumper Cable input from 3 and 6.

Most radios have all their circuitry and connections inside, so I find it strange that there is a cable that plugs into the back of the radio and goes no where, but part of the reason is so they can change out pieces if it goes bad I believe. It would make it easier to change out 1 whole circuit board.

    Hope this helps.

I don't know if the following that I bring will work for retain the OEM mic on the Prius C:

Can the USB / 3.5 mm cable can be mod to connect with the OEM Mic? removing the part of the male usb and t-tap or direct wiring with the existing Mic cables?

I went with the kenwood because it only took about 3 min to route the cable and clip the mic on the top of the plastic trim piece.

Philipt99 How did your mount your tweeter to that piece of plastic? And what was the plastic made of? :) Thx!
