Use Gen II wheels on Gen III?

    I have a 2010 prius with 15 inch factory alloys/hubcaps and would like to switch them out with 16 inch 7 spoke alloys from a 2009 prius (with new tires). Bolt number (5) and size (100mm) is the same. Does anyone know if there is a reason why this swap would not be OK?

    IMO, they look better than the 09+ wheel when all trim rings/hubcaps are removed.

    I agree- when compared to the '09 15 inch wheels and trim rings-but I really like the touring edition 7 spoke wheels. I actually prefer them to the 17" alloys. The 17's, IMO are a bit "too much" for the car-like Toyota is trying to make it something it is not.
