Had my first experience with more than 1K miles on a tank of gas. I had two pips left at 1025 miles, and put in 9.1 gals, resulting in a calculated 112.6 mpg. The display showed 120 mpg (8.5 gals used), with a lifetime of 83 mpg at 11025 miles on the odo. EV/HV ratio is 29/71. Usually I get somewhere in the 800+ range, but did less freeway driving this time and stayed in EV mode more. I'm happy, especially with the prices going up since I filled up.:p

Only 1000 miles? I just hit 2063 miles on this tank.

I think I'll probably get some gas in the next few weeks sometime. :)

My display looks like the inverse of that one. I have 13% EV miles. Hahaha

Nice going, Mike! We need another thread for the higher EV users who hardly use any gasoline. This could be the equivalent of the 200K and 300K mile clubs on PriusChat. Of course, this thread was for us lowly 1000 mile per tankers.:) If only I didn't have to drive on the darn So Cal freeways!:(

We already have similar competition lists for 600, 700 and 800 mile clubs as well as a top 20 mpg records list. I never got around to adding one for the PIP because of the complexity of charging regimes. Someone should make one though. :)

If my commute was just 6 miles longer I could charge at home and work and get more EV miles sooner. :)

The EV ratio is impressive. What's more impressive is the efficiency breakdown of both fuels.

149 MPGe on electric miles (15% charging loss added). 155 MPGe with 10% charging loss.

    54 MPG on gas miles.

Yeah, having a 20 mile round trip commute, and being able to charge at work has worked out pretty well for me.

My ratio is about 12% EV 88% HV.
Until I wiped out ~1500 EV log it was 11%~12% going back and forth.

    My pattern.
    About 2500~3000 miles a month.
Charge once a night during weekday, and about 1.5~2 times during weekends.

Was doing around 1600mi on a tank for a couple months when charging at home and work... commute was only 18 mi and one way was slightly downhill, other way was the opposite. Took the streets vs highway and averaged about 40 mph. Finished before fueling up again with readout showing ~165mpg on the car. Haven't done that since moving to a different workplace, now averaging 60mpg if I'm lucky. If I could do it again, I would have just kept my 2010 Prius 4, or just waited and got the C if I really needed something else. The cost of either (base or advanced) just doesn't make sense unless you're really milking all the electric you can out of the car.
