You would be correct... Norton 360...

You would also be correct that Manager.exe is a WinCE application. Not sure of the .DLLs though I believe they contain the same platform information as the applications.


On a side note. have you gotten a chance to load these files in the RoadRover Emulator?

 

Here is the Norton descritption... Since the file is from the WinCE platform and has not created a reputation for itself Norton will flag it.... as you can see below... there could be a risk... but as you have noted before... An I have seen many times WinCe applications will NOT run on a Win32 or Win64 platform... and neither will a Win32 or Win64 run on a WinCE platform.

I have run these on my RoadRover Emulator... They do functions... have not been able to test the voice on the emulator though.. I may need to play around more with it.

I checked 2.90.2 with Norton AntiVirus 2013 and no infect was detected.

 

i know this is not about chevrolet cruze but i could not find anything good about my problem.

i have updated my dvd-navigation roadrover c7032cc's software to cn-prima-arm-sl-v1.55. after that i have lost its programs. and icould not find original firmware and gui anywhere.
i have tried all d2280 and i9 programs but with none of them my devices buttons like play,next,car settins etc. work.

what can i do about it? any help is really appreciated.

 

That's nothing else than the OS WinCE, no "software". As I remember OS V1.55 includes several Microsoft WinCE updates and that's why the complete flash memory has been refomatted.
Now your unit is booting into Windows desktop and no gui menu is visible, right ?

Why did you do this ? Any problems with Windows or gps ? Which OS version was running before update ?

I just asked two users for the complete GUI and NAND FLASH

i could not install any navigation software. at first i didnt know anything about navigation devices firmwares etc. found somewhere about this update and tried learned lots of things during this period but it was too late.

previous version was cn-prima-arm-sl-1.27. dont remember other mcu version.

current is 1.55 also there is another version starting with something like mcu 1.37crz

i have tried lots of guis from China-RNS.com. media/dvd playback works within gui.
also navigation software works now (navitel). but buttons on device dont work with any of them.

so the problem is with gui only. am i wrong about it?

 

ok WinCE V1.27 is very old and you did well to update. But I'm sure, no i9 GUI would run on your unit, only classic GUI.
Filename is always starting with V1.2x.x and get stored into folder D2280 (not i9). I'm also sure the GUI of your unit C7032CC for Chevrolet Cruze was a special one. You could'nt use any other. If I get it, I'll post a download link here.

Yes I know it's running. Also i9 GUI is a simple Windows app. But only if radio and audioplayer is audible, your unit has a MCU version installed which is compatible to i9 GUI.

What was the solution? Also, anyone know how to fix the lower volume when playing USB songs?

 

There is a volume setting in the iGo software for the master volume and the overlay volume. These only work when overlaying the nav over the mp3. The radio still cuts out when the nav speaks.

 

Did you use the factor

Did you use the factory xm tuner that came with your prius III if you did where is it location at or was it built into the old head unit I don't think it is I will be installing the ottonavi unit don't want to buy another tuner if i don't have to.

 

I got the original GUI of RR for Chevrolet Cruze unit. Here it is:

and additional the complete NAND FLASH:

is it enough to extract first file to staticstore folder?

where should extract nandflash folder?

You must perform these steps:
- enter Windows Desktop by pushing icon "Update" (screen Options / System) / file "update.exe" is needed in root of your sd card
- open folder D2280
- delete "Manager.exe"
- power off / on the unit (it will boot into Windows Desktop)
- delete folder D2280
- copy&paste new folder D2280 into drive "StaticStore"

NAND FLASH is a second drive on the unit. Replace its complete content.

no I don't. Every MCU software only matches one model cause it's special adapted to the car electronics (CanBus , SWC etc.). So never install an unknown mcu update ! You would brick the unit. That's why MCU updates are not provided public.
