Nemo snow job ... any Prius power reports?

    The combination of high winds and snow, it sounds like wide-spread power outages. Since Nemo is hitting New England, I would expect them to deal with it. Just I'm curious who might have gone on Prius inverter power?

    Just south of Garden City - looks like 10" + minor drifts - power is on - had to shovel the front steps and landing to let the Labby's take care of some important business. ;)

    woke up to about 2 feet. wind wasn't as bad as i expected overnight and the power is still on. they are reporting 600,000 outages in new england with 400,000 of them in ma. another few hours to go and storm surge is the big worry in some coastal areas. 38" in milford ct! not like 78 tho, because the ground was bare before this storm and plenty of warning kept cars off the road so the plows could do their job. now to the shovel!:mad:

    A few of us neighbors chipped in on a good, industrial-strength, snow blower a couple of years ago. Works like a champ, then just some minor touch-up with the shovels... DONE!

    I have no idea how much snow we have gotten, because there is no where near the house that isn't drifting. The front steps are blown completely clean; there is a razor edge snow drift 3 feet high nearby.

    So far no power problems, but the Prius is gassed up, and I fixed the inverter connection yesterday.

    1st photo was taken at 6pm
    2nd photo was taken at 7:30pm
