I have had the clazzio perforated since last July 2012. I posted detailed pictures a while back.
They are beautiful and very comfortable like Tempur-Pedic material. The only drawback is that it takes a while for the seat heaters to warm all that material. Not too big a deal in SoCal, but on a short trip in Mid-West Arctic cold blast, the delay might be annoying.

Can you provide a working link to where you got your Clazzio seat covers that were made for the Plug in Prius?
    Thanks...

But if I offered you $5000 to fly back east for one or two days of work would you do it?

There is something to be said for an easy deal. Trying to sell my car on my own for max price then order a car from back east would make things more difficult than I wanted to deal with. Instead, I got a great local deal, a great trade in price and over $1,500 in accessories thrown in. I could have saved money by going back east but I really didn't think that was possible at the time I bought this car. I don't read every thread in the PIP forum. :p

I see your posts, and raise you this one from Tideland:
Display Audio with Navigation vs. Premium HDD Navigation | Page 2 | PriusChat
This post doesn't answer the question, but is interesting nonetheless:
Display Audio with Navigation vs. Premium HDD Navigation | PriusChat
In the threads and posts you listed, there is 1 confirmation of the low end model being flash based, and 1 post taking your position on HDD, without any real authority. I'll take Tideland's info as the gospel, since it came from Toyota.

The vent for HV batts is different between the standard Gen III Prius and the PIP- that's the only difference I've read about. There could be other differences though....

What I can't understand- is several posters on PC stating they have the Classio's on their PIP- but not one of them has been able to post a working link where you can place a real order (not pre-order) for seat covers made specifically for the 2012 PIP.

So I'm starting to think it's BS that there are Classio covers made for the PIP available.

I exchanged few emails with TRDSparks regarding clazzio covers for PiP.
According to them, you can pre-order thru them.

Okay, let me clarify. This is also mentioned in one of my links. HDD system does use a hard drive, which spins and has high capacity. Display Audio system uses flash storage, which is lower capacity. However, display audio system does NOT use DVD.

    Another "pre-order" only.

I'm officially calling BS on members here posting "I bought Clazzios (that were) made for the PIP"... because as of yet not one proud PIP/Clazzio owner has been able to provide a working link to an actual available Clazzio seat cover for the 2012 PIP.

Any sources for regular slip over seat covers (not leather, just cloth) for the PIP. My plan is to keep the car until my carpool exemption runs out (2 1/2 years) and then get whatever qualifies (probably all electric by that time.).

My understanding is that the interior seating of PIP and regular P are the same. So why special seat covers for PIP?

That's the same site that one of the members here warns against using....

Supposedly the battery vent in the rear seat is different between the PIP and the regular Prius.

I just checked and it looks to me like the vent is under the seat, not behind it. Seat covers wouldn't cover this anyway. Would they?
