Seat belt warning, reverse beep, day time driving light not on when the headlight is on, can't set the headlight auto shut off under 30 seconds, NAV not operable in motion, brakes too small.

    The technology especially the gearbox
The gadgets that come as standard (hand free phone, built in mp3 player, ipod connection etc etc)
    Fuel economy
    5 Year warranty
    The overall design
    Hill start brake system
    The proximity key system
    My 10th anniversary wheels :)
The ability to get two sets of golf clubs in the boot with ease
    The headlight performance

    Dislikes
Rear visibility, it really is about the worst of any car I've owned
Reverse beep serves no purpose, if I don't know I'm in reverse I shouldn't be a driver
I wish MG1 had a higher rev limit to enable the ICE to shut down at higher speeds when cruising downhill
A little too much buzz, squeak and rattle from behind the dash
Having to cycle through the menus rather than go back and forth
I'd prefer the gear selection to be buttons rather than the lever
    The slowness of the satnav

That's all I can think of at the mo :)

I've asked this same question. If the NAV is not locked in motion for other countries then there must be a software hack to disable this!

BTW, there is a kit to change the shift lever to buttons.

For sure but I guess one would need to understand if the legislation simply prevents the OEM from selling a NAV that works at speed or if it's actually an offence to have one that operates at speed.

Yes I saw one of those. I quite like it I have to say but not sure what changing it would do to my warranty

The legality only pertains to car manufacturers meeting the law requirement. Among other stupid laws our Govt create here.

Many owners of European cars disable this feature the minute they buy their car, of course this requires an aftermarket hack.

It's perfectly ok to browse your music on the mp3 player but if you touch your satnav whilst in motion it's a well known fact that you will get pregnant and you will die....:(

It would be nice if the voice command actually worked. Doesn't work in the Bimmer either bummer!

Superb fuel economy, very reliable so far
Very practical with hatchback, good cargo space
Driver's seat is quite comfy, most comfortable of any cars I've had
Nice ride quality, smoothes out bumps pretty well
Easy to use with Smart key and push button start

    Dislikes -
There is a rattle caused by low throttle application, it is annoying
Steering wheel limited telescope and tilt adjustability
Steering wheel non-wrapped texture is annoying, like sandpaper
Door armrests too low and hard, center console armrest too hard
Sometimes loud interior on rough freeway pavement

Car feels somewhat underpowered or overweight
Too much body lean in tight corners, doesn't feel all that good while cornering
Interior sort of bland and sterile with all hard plastics
Speedometer and HSI gages in center of dash not good. Put in front of driver.
Floating bridge console gets in the way more than anything
Reverse beep useless. What other car has that?
Short, 1 mile trips on cold engine bring down mpgs

We treat the voice command function as entertainment more than a useable tool.
Last time I tried it I asked it to navigate me to Milton Keynes.... it came back and said.... "did you say ferry port?" lol

I do not like how the rear of the car gets so dirty so fast.

NO PULL OUT SUN VISOR! The visor does not cover the length of the side window when moved over and drives me nuts. Yeah, I know, but who needs side air bags.

I think Mercedes holds the patent on the sun visor that slides out feature

Does that makes you wonder how much drag the Prius have? I wondered about that.

The funniest thing, my wife speaks with a slight Chinese accent and the voice command understands her fully!

It does and I do. Not not a huge complaint but it bothers me. I usually just use an air hose every few days to dust it off.
