Is it me, or is the Prius a moron magnet?

Here it has to do with road design not speed. Obviously the center dividers and guard rails is there for a reason.

Those are dumb idiots if you asked me, which is majority of the drivers.

 

It does make an interesting shocking presentation because people would have not expected Montana. But since the report came out people have questioned why and another study showed it has to do with the roads, not speed.

 

Tailgating it certainly a very dangerous driving practice, cutting in on people is just as bad. I do not think exceeding the speed limit is a much a safety issue as the aforementioned. Now, I'm in my Prius in the right lane, we have a row of turtles in front of me doing 60 in a 60. I decide to go 68, so I safely move into the passing lane, now along comes some butt muncher, doing 85 climbs up my bumper. I'm already speeding, breaking the law, you know thank God people don't hear what I think of these self centered, jerks. They are on public roads, breaking the law, putting me, my Prius, my wallet, my family, all in jeopardy because they think it cool to drive fast. And yes nothing, absolutely nothing makes me happier to pull up beside them 1 mile down the road at the red light. Nothing, except Johnny law firing up his bubble gum machine and nailing their selfish azz. their effing morons, and need their azz kicked.

 

Has anyone watched the movie "God Bless America" 2011. Is it terribly wrong for me to imagine shooting some of these morons in the face?

I know it is dangerous to brake against a tailgater, and I am fighting fire with fire, but tailgaters activates a defense mechanism within me that I got from Iraq.

Well I don't completely agree with the .45 only because mine is a .38! But it really does feel like I'm being bullied, pushed, or harassed. Really, bad idea if they knew my history.

I'll gladly get into the right lane when it's safe and I don't have some big feeling, brut pushing me. PTSD is nothing to play around with. So we'r going to need to slow down, because I think a rear end at 40mph is more survivable that one at 70. The other possibility is they can pull over and we can have a nice discussion about their safety, my safety, and people who like to bully!

 

Haha, on second thought, they might fear permanent paint ball gun a little more. I am definitely having a hard time in my transition to a "Prius" driver. Going from a turbo diesel Army truck to an import tuner now to a gentle Prius. It's going to take some time.

Just sayin if someone like you were describing does the stuff you like to do, just be careful. Not every one thinks the highway is the speedway. Some folks get peeve if they look in the rear view and see nothing but grill.

 

PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder Is best to be used in court in order to drop assault charges against these morons... JUST KIDDING!

 

I have no grudges against speeding, but ones who speed should have enough skill and consideration to not affect other drivers. Treat the highway like a speedway all you want, this choice should be only between the driver, the law, and God. A good driver can predict traffic patterns, and should be able to pass other vehicles without tailgating or cutting other cars off. These morons should not be angry at a Prius because they don't have the ability to pass and maintain a high rate of speed. Yes, it is illegal to pass from the right, but so is speeding.

 

LOL, bullies wig me out. I'm not sure other drivers realize this perception of tailgaters. There not cool, their life is not the most important thing going on, they are screwing with my property, if they cause an accident so many people are effected. Maybe they think their some great race car drivers and their drafting in a Daytona race, their delirious, out of their Effie mind.

Just to set the record straight, although it's irritating when I get behind a left lane huger (going slower than traffic keeping the car at speed limit) I don't tailgate, I don't flash high beam, I just give them 30 seconds to move over, if they don't move I move around them and move on.

(1). All of my cars are way too expensive to be screwing around and tailgating people whom I have no idea what mental problems they have.

(2). Too many other important things than for me to get worked up over someone who choose to practice what they believe.

(3). And honestly I am just not interested.

 

Wished more folks thought and did what you just said you do.

I am no longer a teenager, 43 years old this year. I have a family, 2 kids (7 and 4) with college tuition waiting for me to pay. My ricer days ended long time ago.
