We are now a 3 C family! At this very moment, my father is at his local Toyota dealership in Lake Havasu, AZ working on the final deals for his Blue Streak C1.

He called me two nights ago (and i thought it was just to say happy birthday) and grilled me for almost two hours about what I thought of my C. I really didn't think he'd do it, but he did.

Congrats! First someone got twins - now triplets.

I gotta ask: Is it Prius, Priuses or Prii?:)

I think I've read elsewhere here that the proper term is Prii. :)

Toyota did a promotional vote and the winner was Prii. It's not really correct if you look at Latin or English, but since the word is a name made up by Toyota and they decided the plural of Prii, that is now the correct plural.

Shouldn't it be Priae or has my grade 8 Latin finally faded into oblivion. Anyways, great news Roc. I haven't even seen 3 total yet here. I will be going on a road trip/vacation in the US Pacific coast next month. Perhaps I will see many more.

Prii for more than one Prius. It's not Latin, it's Prius Hybrideze!

Slight correction... Dad got a C2, not a 1, so his car should be the twin to my Entu.

We've been a Toyota family for almost as long as I can remember. My first car was not a Toyota, it was a junk yard fixer-upper, but every car since then has been a Toyota. And now that I've driven the C for a while, I can't imagine ever wanting a different car.

Ah, my first car was a Toyota Corolla. Only had it for one year, my senior year in high school. It was awesome having a car at that age. I tend to trust the Japanese cars. Yes, they do have problems just like domestic and other imports, but their reliability is tried and true. They are a "safe" bet. I've had an Altima for 3 years and a Pathfinder for 10 years(301k). No major issues. I literally drove the Pathfinder into the ground. The radiator blew and I had it junked for $500(yeah, they gave me cash and hauled it away). Then, I got the PC. I'm saving a ton on gas because of the huge difference in gas mileage. You can push this car, but the gas mileage will suffer. It's nice to know you can stretch it(hyper-mile it) or punch it when necessary.

My first new car was a red Toyota pickup... they didn't have a specific name back then. After that, it was a dark green Corolla, then the silver Echo, and now the Blue Streak C. Even in its death throes, the Echo was getting a good 35 MPG, but it was dying and needed to be traded in after 8-10 years in the harsh Vegas environment.
