The vent is on the lower right side of the passenger side rear seatback- same general area as the regular Prius.
The exact size and exact location is supposedly different in the PIP as compared to the regular Prius... that's why the seat cover set is different between the two models.

I'm not so sure the passenger side rear vent isn't the same.. I thought it was because the PiP has an EXTRA vent, under the lower seat cushion behind the driver

EDIT: added picture of the driver side rear vent

You may be correct- I read it had to do with the rear seat vent- I hadn't considered (heck I never even knew it existed) the 2nd rear seat vent on the PIP.
At any rate- for those looking to purchase- the seat cover set for the Prius is not the same as the set for the PIP.
Note I specifically mentioned "set" not individual seat covers in which the front seat covers from the Prius may be identical to the seat covers for the PIP- but the complete sets are different between the two vehicles probably because of the rear seat vent(s) differences.

Not BS. Although no working link, TRDSparks processes all orders manually. You can order the seat covers for regular Prius. Just put the requirement in the Comments (shipping instructions), or email them. They will process it accordingly.

I got shipment notification about two days after the order. Very surprised, because the wait time is usually 6 to 8 weeks according to many people in the forum.

    Thanks..
At the time of the original posts here- TRDSparks was pre-order only for the PIP.
How did you order seat covers for your PIP from TRDSparks? All via phone, or online somehow?
Did you actually order covers for the Prius then indicate in the notes section you had a PIP?

I emailed them first and confirmed that they have covers for PIP. I emailed them again afterwards to re-affirm that. ([email protected])

This is the response I got:

We do have seat covers available for the 2012+ Prius plug in. We do not have them up on the site yet, so if you place the order under the 2011 Prius and let us know it is for the 2012 Plug-in, then we can go ahead and process it as such. Thank you!

    That's great!
I've bought quite a few items from TRDSparks- they're very easy to deal with.

I wonder how effective the OEM seat heaters will be with the seat covers on?

hate to dig the old, but heard that a bit. I like a little scooch, adjust the butt in real leather seats. Softex grabs like cloth, can't move at least in pretend test drive (sitting only).

Ok, but does it stink a bit to sit on leather covers w/o seat heaters? I'm in SF bay area, not too cold though. J/C

Haven't been on the site in a while.
I posted pictures links everything last July or August, you should look for those.

The dealer that installed them was:
Award Winning Clear Bra Installations in California By Clear Pro

I don't think they operate in NJ but you might call them to get some info.

Yes, mine are the real Clazzio custom for the PIP with the Battery cooling vent cut-outs.

I bought a set of clazzio seat covers for our PIP from AutoEQ.ca. We ordered them in january and got them last week. Also, the heated seats are now barely ineffective but other than this, the covers fits really well and look great. Now the prius interior looks much more like a luxury car. The leather quality seams great also.

Sorry, but "I would NOT have gone with the Advanced if I had NOT forgotten than it DOESN'T qualify". Three negatives in the same sentence - I have no idea how any of you even understand what is being said....

To those of u who have installed the clazzios, do the wrinkles smooth out over time? I've been looking at some clazzios installs and they don't look like they fit well. I know katzkins are sometimes wrinkly after install, but smooth out in the heat for a perfect fit. Are clazzios the same? Thanks.

Also I've seen the cut outs for the vents on the clazzios, and not impressed with gaps and misalignment. Anyone experience this?

I was ready to place a Clazzio order until I saw the self install video.
One thing I do not like is that the seat covers are placed over the existing ones; second, these come with a foam lining in the inside, making the clazzio's thicker and difficult to slide over the existing upholstery; third, will not transfer efficiently the heat of the heated seats circuit and fourth, the material is sort of stiff with a myriad of wrinkles in the most noticeable places.
I will wait and save for katzkins products.
    My 2 cents
