Thank you! How are you doing on MPG's with the stock Persona 17's? I'm averaging about 49...

I'm getting about 48-49. I have been putting it in Power Mode when I enter the freeway...haha.

By the way, did you purchase your Persona with the Sports Package or did you add it on?

South East Toyota installed it at the port of call. It was sitting on the dealer lot for five weeks. Lots of retired people live around the dealership I purchased from. They sell mostly two's and three's. The package included the rims, tires, ground effects, tint, mats and Toyoguard...

It doesn't have the TRD suspension, but I have a tendency to scrape the front of the car on those concrete parking things... At this height, it doesn't scrape! (Thank God!)

I have a 2012 with the Sports package which I added TRD Springs and sway bar to complete the Performance Plus Package. With the Performance Plus pack you won't have a problem with speed bumps or parking stops.

That's great to know! May I ask how much the TRD package set you back, installed? Did you notice an improvement with the TRD suspension?

Interesting, Persona with Plus without springs. I gotta be honest, it doesn't look complete.

Looks like door moldings were added too.

They were added probably by the dealer.

We have a package 2 with the sports and it just has rims and ground effects.

Blizzard, ground effects, wheels and tint look great together. Perfect color for the Florida sunshine, too.

How much drop do you get from the TRD springs? Roads tend to get pretty un-level this time of year in Maine, so would probably scrape and shave off some front air dam just driving around at present height. You guys have much smoother roads down there!

Thanks! I haven't added the springs, 2fastplus did and he stated that it wasn't a problem with clearence. By the pictures, it looks like 2 inches. I am still debating whether to complete the package with the springs and the anti-sway bar. I am actually quite pleased with the car the way it is... Maybe if I was a little younger it would be a must have.

I was fortunate enough to finalize the deal for the car and at the last minute I inquired about the Plus suspension, ( Springs & Sway bar). If I remember correctly both items break down to 2 to 300 dollars each. I said I have to have those items thrown in and installed. After some back & forth I had my way. I simply LOVE the car, the ride is lower, a bit firmer and solid. She is so flat and neutral on the exit ramps.

Awesome Prius Eclipse1701d, I'm going to be in the market for one too....I'm down in SoFL. Would you mind sharing the price OTD or price before TTL so I can have a base to negotiate from. The dealers down here in the Dade, Broward county area likes to have their pound of flesh!! Much thanks in advance!!

    Hi Pri Nut,

The price of the vehicle with the sports package was $31 thousand. They took $1000.00 off the vehicle and gave me $11,800 on my trade in. I was very happy considering my trade was worth less than that! So, they basically kept upping the trade price until they made me happy (they started at $9,200). The experience was a little surreal. My advice would be to find the car you want on the lot (they are more apt to negotiate), and go at the end of the month when they need to get their numbers up. I went on the 25th of February. I also dealt directly with the GM. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, PM me!

MUCH Thanks for the quick response and advice!!
Just for confirmation, the $31K was the number before the $1000 and the trade in value so:
    31,000 - (1000+11800) = 18200 + TTL = $19292
    Again, thanks for the input!!
