Finally tried to fit the original covers but did not like it. At about 4 ft. away, it was hard to tell. There were some gaps at the tip of the light with the blinkers are - the original covers does not have a groove to lock it and one right were it curves. Ended up using the covers from MIT and had it painted for my V for $89 by my local dealer. This is my second time around and the nails were much better to use when removing the mirror cover than the coins. Anyway, I thought I'd try and the covers will be used as back up.

Anyone wanna help me get these mirrors workin on my Prius? They were installed when I got the car and the original owner I think never wired it at all! At least I don't have to pop the mirror! It's the electrical stuff that kinda scares me. I also didn't even know I had optional fog lamps which were never hooked up! The switch is there but no light/power so I assume they just installed that for pure looks rather than with function! Please help!
