You can pop the connector out of the insulated sleeve with a screwdriver...

thanks! i went to grainger along with 3 or 4 other places and no place had any uninsulated connectors. one store told me to do the same thing you just mentioned. grainger can get uninsulated connectors but only in boxes of 100.

    SHUUSSSHHHHH!!!!!

I would have had them soldered to a perf board in a case so I could in the future tap and monitor various signals. It would have an RJ-45 so I could pull up to eight signals. <GRINS>

i thought it looked a little empty behind my head light. i see my inverter coolant pump is missing as well. ...damn scavengers at the auction yard. hence the reason my harness was cut. luckily i got this car for $1000.

Don't trust a used inverter/tranny coolant pump...pay the $$ for a new one with shiny silver/gold bracket (original had black bracket). Weak pump can cook inverter and/or tranny.

thanks! i just ordered a new pump today for $120. i just finished crimping my harness back together and unfortunately there's still no lights or power getting to the dash. my 12 volt battery is good, there's continuity in my fusible link, i checked my DC/DC and DOME fuses and they're good.

i'm not getting any current coming through any of the harness wires.
