I'm wondering the same thing. I've got the upgraded JBL system (6-disc changer, Sat feature, etc.), but playing music or podcasts through the Aux jack in the arm-rest sounds buzzy and whines a lot due to interference from the phone. I'm trying to figure out which bluetooth module would get me A2DP streaming audio on this deck.

Any suggestions for anyone who's done this would be super helpful!

My iPhone 5 works fine through the Aux jack in the armrest.

    But this is his issue...

I had the same issue and had to buy a in-line filter. But this still won't allow what he's looking for..

I understood what his issue was. All I was saying is that I have not had any noise using the Aux Jack with my iPhone 5, nor do I understand how this would be due to interference from the phone.

Had the same feedback issue with my HTC Evo but no feedback with my Samsung Galaxy SIII. Possibly could be his phone.

This is what I did... I bought the Blackberry Music Gateway ($50) and a ground loop isolator ($10) and a short micro USB cable ($5) and a short 3.5 to 3.5 head phone jack ($3) and a USB car lighter charger that I already owned.... It works great to stream the music without any of the interference! I'll post pictures on my lunch.

    Here are the pictures

It works automatically... I turn on my car and go to my music player and hit play and it starts streaming... When I shut the car off after 5 or 10 seconds it'll pause what I'm listening to podcast or other wise. I've done a lot of research regarding this topic and I'd like to think this is absolutely the best way to get your phone to stream to your prius.

I have the OEM Toyota iPod interface in my 2009 Prius. I went to get a 30 pin to lighting cable adapter from Apple and plugged it in the car. It charges and plays music. But, you are not able to control it through the steering wheel controls or through the MFD. You have to control it through the phone and it's all the way in the glove box. Rather annoying that the iPhone 5 is not supported with the cable. My 4 would work fine.

I did notice if you use google maps and navigation it will play through the speakers of the car via bluetooth. I couldn't get the audio to work via Pandora, Spotify, or music on my iPhone.
