I think I am going to go through and getting another Clear Water Blue. A dealer was able to match, but they had a Winter Gray with 200 miles on it. I don't want to buy a new car with 200 test drive miles on it. I will update once I finalize everything.

Let me guess, the Winter Gray with 200 miles on it is at Toyota of Greenwich?

No, it was DCH Brunswick. I was ready to do the deal. Good thing I asked her to check the mileage. I'm sure she wouldn't have bothered to check otherwise.

I am surprise DCH brunswick is not willing to drop lower for the 200 test drive miles. I would choose a new clear water blue one instead too.

Several available across dealers in Northeast for the PiP advanced, Rockland Toyota, Hudson Toyota.
I was able to close on one silver metallic PiP advanced for $30,250 with 6 miles on it at newburgh toyota, and used some of the 0% financing options which was available. Dealership was very easy to deal with.

one question, so I would still qualify for the 2500$ federal tax credit when I file my 2013 return right, I just now bought the 2012 prius advanced. Thanks,

Yes NDAN on next years return(as we discussed)...this is the thread with the spreadsheet you asked about.
I actually don't know how to find it, but LENSOVET here can advise you. To set location, click on your name at the top of the screen, and then click on Your Profile Page, and then fill in LOCATION.
    Congrats again on the PiPA!

I haven't signed anything yet. I email those dealers to see what they can do. I wasn't able to find any dealers in NY to match the price before. Maybe getting close to the end of the month will work in my favor.

PMed you for your contact over there.

to clarify, your 2013 taxes, which will be calculated in spring 2014, would be when you can claim the rebate. you CAN'T claim the rebate on your current (2012) returns unless you bought the car on or before 12/31/12.
however, what you can do is submit a new W4 to your employer to modify your withholding amounts and lower the amount of money that gets taken out of your paycheck throughout the year.

easiest way to find the spreadsheet is to go to the FAQ link that's in my signature (not seen on mobile devices), one of the first "answers" has a link to the spreadsheet in it (as well as this thread).

Thanks, although did see you had updated the spreadsheet, Thnx.

Btw picked up on friday...160 miles already on 2 gallons...and two complete charges...drove on light snow, and on mix of highways and slower roads....it handles pretty nicely.

are there any lease deals on the north east? I'm in the North New Jersey area looking to lease within the next 2-3 months. Is it possible to be in a $200 range with total out of pocket $2,000 (with tax and all fees included)?

Purchased in Framingham MA over the weekend.
Base model PIP at $28,262 so feeling pretty happy. That included a Boston area $2400 rebate

I'm looking for a new PiP base model (2012 or 2013), does Northeast region still offer the lowest price after rebates? any leads or contacts for dealerships? What price range shall I expect now?
    thanks
