Have done a considerable amount of reading about HID retrofit kits on the forum. Looking for a kit for my 2010 Prius II.

I have seen lots of recent reviews for XeonSupply- but I just can't shake the idea that they don't seem to be as high a quality as the XeonDepot and TRS kits. Completely understand the difference in price points- looking to verify that these kits are/are not of higher quality than other options.

    TRS- Morimoto Elite

I am WELL aware of the ground wire shadow on the TRS kit- understand the frustration that has cause many members. Knowing of the issue going in, I'm not sure it would bother me.

Most important to me is the overall quality of the entire kit. The kits above appear to be of a much higher quality.

Has anyone used the XeonDepot kit with Phillips bulbs?

How about the Morimoto Elite version of the TRS kit?

Thanks, and keep modding my friends.

The ground wire shadow is really annoying. The components of the morimoto kit really feel and look top quality but the ground wire kills it for me. The more I look at it, and drive it, the more it bugs me. To a certain extent that eventually, I'll probably buy some other bulbs but keep the ballasts.

Was considering buying the Morimoto Elite kit and replacing the bulbs before install.

Did a little research and the Phillips bulbs on H11 bases from XeonDepot are $75 per bulb- OUCH!!!

Makes the XeonDepot complete kit with Phillips Bulbs at $225 pretty attractive.

I wonder if TRS would sell the Morimoto Elite kit without their bulbs.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried Oracle products. My local auto shop owner says they are great, and will custom assemble anything you want for any model, ship the entire assembly to you, and you just need to plug it in.

I called them last night, and asked for a few options (bi-xenons) with prices. Have not heard back yet.

    Anyone else tried them???
