    Today it was 11.1

    The upward trend is nice to see, finally. Of course, it is the first day of spring. So, that is a reasonable expectation.

    I feel that for the amount of extra ev miles you are getting it is not worth paying the extra $. I have a Prius C and I am extremely happy with the mileage and only pay $23k for a fully loaded one. If you drive less than 70 miles a day which Im sure most of us do, get a Nissan Leaf or stick to your standard hybrid. Toyota needs to boost the EV range for that kind of money they are asking.

    The warming of the car interior while charging and actually having the drive home with sun is clearly making a difference.

    i also have seen a small increase this week compared to feb.14th when i last drove it. when i got to work tonight, i had 7.0 miles remaining compared to as low as 5.5 over the winter. no headlites on the way in helps a bit, too.

    If its $ you are worried about buy a nice $10K used car that gets 24mpg perhaps from Carmax. If you really enjoy technology and gadgets and buying somewhat less gas enjoy a Prius Plug-in.

    Last fwy. trip was last Saturday. Showed 16.0 on Sunday, then a couple of days at 15.9, one each at 15.7 and 15.5, and 15.2 this morning. Temps in the fifties each morning when I start out.
    Mine really likes freeways.:love:

    I envy people that live in S. CA. I would love to visit the Tesla factory!
    The Model S is more efficient on the highways than it is on city streets (up to a certain speed). Perhaps the same traits has the EV range estimate increasing as well.
