I also found the $30k + Lexus CT200h does not have extendable sun visor.

I like the extender in the Accord - whole visor slides out on a rod. Better than the HS / Tacoma one I've seen with narrow plastic piece.

I'll bet the mfr. cost diff. on extendable sun visor is not much.

Seems the only place to put coins would be in cup holders or under floating bridge.

Don't mean to be a troll, but Toyota could improve interior design to make it more user friendly.

Well, I mentioned this (better late than never? lol) to my "supplier" dude, who works for parts in a Toyota/Lexus dealership, and he said that the "base part" of the visor (the oval/rectangular-ish part that is attached to the end of the "rod" that the visor is on and that attaches to the roof) is NOT removable, and the Lexus visor and the Prius visor have totally different bases.... We have an indention in the roofliner of our Prius where that oval/rectangular-ish base part of the sunvisor attaches, and the Lexus one's is totally different. SO, if that base piece truly CANNOT be removed from the rod, then the Lexus one would only work if it had the same clip(s) that the Prius piece has, and if its base would fit inside the indented part of our ceiling where our are currently attached... If someone knows of some secret way that the base piece can be miraculously removed from ours and put onto the Lexus sun visor....then SPEAK UP!!! lol

So, are you sure the visors you measured in your friend's car (the ones that are extendable) are on a 2010 IS250H? I haven't found any online for that model that were extendable...

I may not be 6' tall, but I definitely want this feature. It is 2012 and no one at Toyota must be reading this Forum. This cheap feature is a no brainer that the great majjority of us out here would like. I would like it in every car of any make or model. My RX 400 has it and I would say that design is it. There should be no other for every car. My Acura TL had an effective extensible piece of plastic, but the RX design is an obvious winner. For God's sake (not that He needs to drive or anything), borrow from the richer cousin.
