    Hello Bill Norton !!!

The Companies listed on my window are my Sponsors.

As part of the Return on their Investment on the Prius, I advertise for them when I go to various Car Shows and Events throughout California including the SEMA show and the CES Show. No money is collected on my part. The parts and products are granted either through a Partial or Full Sponsorship.

Sponsorships has several criteria and obligations that must be met and taken into consideration prior to acceptance.

I always do my best to Represent these great Companies wherever I go !!!

    Hope this helps !!!

Are you still able to retain the rear diffuser? It's nice to finally see someone with this mod.

    Hello Eugene !!!

Which Spoiler are you looking at ?? The Rear Deck Spoiler ??

My Rear Deck spoiler is just the Original Factory spoiler that I had painted to match the Prius.

    Hope this helps !!!

Sorry I should have been more specific. I'm talking about your roof spoiler/lip.

    Rodney,

I think it's cool how you quickly reply to posts.
This car is a work of art!
You have a wealth of information on adding accessories to the Prius.

I don't see any counterpoints to the posts on this thread.
You said you have to be careful with 'potholes'. Can you drive your car as a daily driver? I can't see how you can even turn the front wheels all the way side to side..

I know style is style, and I don't know much about Japanese-VIP style.
For some reason I see Anime and its music.
I know, nobody loves a critic but ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Some of the accessories you display, in really nice detailed pics,
are actually functional and add speed/efficiency to the Prius.

But most of the Gee Gaa's you were given (to advertise on sites like this) are from the manufacturers, no?
I'm sorry, but someone has to shine some light on this Style,,,,,

In reality it's mostly: ALL SHOW --- NO GO
    Do you trailer this car??
Why do you add SO MANY expensive accessories to your car?

IS this TREAD is an INFOMERCIAL ?

A mod doesn't always have to be functional. They can be purely for aesthetics. If you don't get that then you shouldn't be questioning someone's personal choice on how they want to customize their car.

It can definitely be driven. He's on bags not static so he can raise the car with a touch of a switch. Might not be an ideal setup for tracking but I'm sure that's not what his prius is about.

I thought post#1 summed up what this whole thread was about nicely,

"building my Prius to present the best of both worlds ... Distinction and Efficiency for our Environment...It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I respect everyone's unique style which helps to bring personality to their vehicle"

I think because of this thread and others like it on this forum, I've done what i have to my own prius (side note, really should post pics sometime soon) This car looks amazing, i might not agree with all of the mods but they've definitely made this one very distinctive. loving the cusco rear brace btw.

I thinks its fair to say that without Rodney, this thread and posts like it, I would still be driving a stock blue Prius.
Who cares about his motives and wheter or not he drives it? He is giving us all great information and you can chose what to do with it. I have spent thousands on mods for my car, most seen on this thread, and in doing so I also learned alot about my car, and how to do things myself. The fun and excitement I get from this is well worth the money. Thank you Rodney for sharing your knowlege and love for ypur Prius.

    Rodney,

I just installed these Lexus IS200h engine bay parts that i got from my local dealer and they look great.

For the inverter cover I was wondering if you have worked out a clip that works to attatch the front of it to the front hole in front of the inverter to make to cover look more authentic fit? Hope to understand what I mean.

    Ta Pete.

    Bill,

This whole section is about modding, people modify their cars because they want a car to be individual and proud of what they have created, to make it look different from the rest. Not all mods make a car better handling, faster, infact most don't, but that is what modding is about, making a car stand out in the crowd. "All show and no go", as you call it is sadly what this sometimes is all about.

If you find that difficult to understand you might as well stay out of this section as this is what his section is for. And I'm sure I don't speak myself, I love seeing what others have done so I can make my car also look individual, and learn what another modder has done and see whether its worth my money doing it.

Air Bag suspension! OK, that makes a little more sense. Like the chopper I saw that took a squat at shut down and didn't need a kick-stand. (but this has function)
I thought he was turning this car into some Anime piece of art that couldn't be driven normally, let alone in a fun way...
Yes, I don't get it. But that's the nature of art. And nobody loves art critics, right?
I'm not judging, just celebrating our differences!!

So while you Art Mavens are having your get-togethers in parking lots with mirrors on the ground,
I'll be flogging my car at Autocross tracks hanging out with fellow Motor Heads.
So,, maybe, we could both come home with a placard or silly trophy. Same!
One for Show,,, one for Go. Differences!

Just keep in mind: This thread is to pedal product for the people he works for .
