I discovered that clean air filters can help MPGs.

 

Today I drove past a deer grazing on someone's lawn in a residential area. I put my foot on the brake in case it darted into the street but it didn't. The deer looked up at me and then backed away like it was afraid. Do you suppose the noise maker on the car was acting as a deer repellant?

 

You could be right!

 

I was putting groceries in the back after sunset last night and the rear light wasn't on so I flipped it on, it's on the left side. I discovered a small door near the light so looked at it...looked like it popped off so I did and it just opens to the other side of the gasoline refueling port. Looking at my 740 page owner's manual, it's a way for us to open the gas refueling door if the electronic opener fails. I looked at my wife's 2017 Prius and it, also, has the same little door in the trunk.
