If you're ok with la langue française try poking around Prius Touring Club for sources.

finaly the conversation is going my way, thats a very good question and that is where I am undecided, there are so many manufacturers out there, the one prius described here did not mention anything about timing advance thou autogas makes a module, not required for lpg, a must on cng as a general rule but it would help, I got an answear from Simon from the uk link I posted, for those that read throu the website, they seem to know what they are doing and are familiar with most manufacturers theyr expertise might be worth the markup besides they are pretty reasonable, he made a clear point that he's not interested in providing free advice however I got his full support if buying from him, and likely I can find cheaper kits elswhere and if thats my bottom line he's not the guy to talk to, can't blame him for that, quite honestly , my type of guy

another good point, I saw your posts in other threads, I see you concluded its not worth the trouble, I disagree but each has theyr own, your feedback is still apreciate it as you bring up some good concerns to coment on those :
I was under the impression these systems have been dialed in a long time ago, I remember them since I was a kid, as for the nozles, not a big concern here all forklift tanks are the same, the gas grill too, except you can use a grill tank on a forklift but not the other way, someone that has a gas grill can confirm ( I prefer wood for grilling) the grill conection in on the inside of the nozle, the threads on the outside are for forklifts. you say borderline viable, I don't know where that comes from, there is a lot of research and products out there, I left in 99, dam near every cab was running lpg. I know propane has lower caloric value even at your claimed 20-30 % (more like 10)at half price theres still some gain , thats not just financialy speaking, I have other reasoning I previously mentioned, waranty expired and if I blow it I'll replace it oh well, and yes lpg colourless, odorless I believe you ment, furthermore heavier than air so it settles at the bottom, rather than floating away, very good points and safety issues however the aditives they come with are horible, they stink so bad I cant bear to be arround them, I had it happen when getting tanks exchanged some may not be fully closed , slowly leaking even in open air it bothers me yards away, and I am not that sensitive, I could not imagine beeing stuck insiude a prius with a leaky tank, leaks are also very easy to detect as the area freezes, as for those imbecils that blow themselves up, I dont know, I'm a smoker, I have no restraints arround propane, I know its a bad habit just saying I've been known to change a tank with a cig in my mouth inches from the fitting , furthemore a delivery driver showed me he put a lit cig in front of the nosle and turned it on full blast , blew the hots away, try it with a small plumbers torch or a pencyl torch if youre that concerned you can't light it with a cig, theres more to those stories thats all I'm saying, I believe you have to be pretty ignorant, almoast on purpose to have such an "accident", what ever happened with those priuses that were accelerating on theyr own by the way

furthermore my understanding so far is that those systems piggyback onto the oem gut the fuel and run the propane respectively acording to what the oem is signaling, the oem computer is cluless that tis burning a different fuel, not sure if the oxigen sensor sees a diference, some of those kits come with their own map sensor, not sure what the Ideea is about that, as for the timing I read its recomended a 5 degree advance compared to gas, not sure how those module do it, say 1342 firing order the spark needs to happen before the oem says so, so I recon in order to fire #3, it times it based on #1 oem signal and rpm/crank and cam sensor, respectively #4 based on the #3 and so forth, I'm just assuming I don't know, I was hoping someone that actualy knows would join the conversation, I've been reading about this all winter, I called autogas of poland last monday to order a kit, aparently they are so bussy I'm not worth theyr time, got nowhere so far.

yes I'm having a hardtime folowing all those numbers, some show more co2 emissions with lpg, not sure what that is about, cost per 100 km is odd too, not two numbers alike, I believe its combines between gas and lpg depending on usage I ran a lpg search, I had to narow it by prius, there's a ton out there.

So, the HW11 is a Gen1 Prius running lpg primarily. He's not been able to separate out his lpg use from his gasoline use so the information's not very helpful. If you look closely, the two fuel consumption amounts are being calculated from the same odometer readings.
Example: At 156329 kms he refilled both gasoline and lpg. He'd driven 356 km since the last lpg fill up so he's noted at 10.10 l/100 km. Filling up at the same time with gasoline he puts in 3.97 liters, having last filled 1059 km before, giving him 0.37 l/100 km.
On the one hand his mileage on the lpg looks pretty poor. On the other hand it must have been a taxi because he's putting close to 6000 km on it per month.

He notes that it was killed by an X3 ultimately.

The "swiss edition" is running CNG, so that's probably not helpful.

I kindof gathered that, those 1059km were mostly ran on lpg, kind of like that 500mpg prius video on you tube, where the plugin doesn't count

I came across that post last fall its what sparked an interest, I contacted autogas poland last monday, lets just say they are not familiar with the concept of customer service I have yet to hear back, or they may just not care for individual orders 100 kits or better

gas itally on the other hand has the best cust serv I came across so far, I got a reply from the factory this morning althou they dont sell direct they recomended a kit based on HP and cyl#, which is realy what it boils down to, looks like what its commonly refered as an engine kit, still need a tank and stuff reffered to as a rear end kit, the two make a complete kit, particularly in my case the rear end kit is prettymuch worthless, here are the details:
So if there are no special rules, the kit I suggest you for your car is our SGI CNG F5 compact OBD 4 cyl.:

so far i am really happy with Italian company I mentioned earlier, a sales rep took the time to email back and forth all morning eventualy he went home,/timezone difference, and still replied to my emails, that kind of service goes a long way with me, he's going to get some prices for me for a full kit tank and all, also they make a higher end module if you would , I'm curious if its ovekill or the price diferrence is substantial, can't say the same about anybodyelse I contacted, I have yet to hear back from autogas , however their name pops up all the time, I see their modules everywhere on youtube, they may have a good product, but aparently I'm not worth thieir time, the one prius on here was converted using their kit, they may be more available in europe , not sure how the user went about ordering it, he does not say.
oh and maybe I did not mention but it looks like I may be able to order it factory direct, the guy had a change of harts, said he'd sell me a kit, where previously he mentioned they dont sell to the public, 50 kits minimum

if any of you have any experience with this manufacturer or any thoughts/concerns to share now would be a good time as it looks like I'm about to make a purchase, I hope I got this right
