Kudos for putting your child seat rear-facing in the annoying but safest center spot. But you might want to rethink the mirror. The highway trooper at my new parents class cautions placing anything hanging in a car. They can easily become a projectile in case of an accident. He mentioned these mirrors specifically.

I had the tonneau cover from my Integra graze me on the side of the head when I was rear-ended. If it wasn't for my headrest, I might be a vegetable right now. Oh, and it wasn't Acura's fault either for bad engineering. I placed a rather large and heavy subwoofer box in the hatch. It barely fit under the tonneau cover. It lifted when I was hit and caused the cover to go airborne towards me. I did not secure the box. Who would? The thing weighed like a rock! But now I know.

Thanks! I'll have to rethink the mirror. He is going to be forward facing very soon so I won't need it very soon anyways!

Hi Bzrice, I read and liked your threads. I've been modding Corvettes for years, got my first Prius and started modding two days later. Wish I'd seen your thread on the Home Depot center cap mod before I bought the Factory center caps.

Thought you might like my Cadillac horn mod.

thanks!! I love sharing my mod list.. Sometimes it helps those who are looking to do mods themselves. Yah the center caps were the super cheap way out.. Lol.. Those horns sound great!! I would love to compare that with the friamm horns I have.. I do have to say that the horn mod is one of my favorite mods!!

Well these are not real JDM ones from Toyota.. These are JDM style ones.. They copy the style of the mugen visors for the Honda fit. The quality isn't all that great.. But most people don't notice.. The HIC ones are a lot better quality than the ones I have.. But I like the style of the ones I have. So I am keeping them :)

ohh, good to know, i'm still on the fence about the jdm toyota ones, they're just so expensive, the HIC ones look great too....what to do, what to do......

Between you and F8L, I'm seriously considering a Blizz Prius.

I can definitely vouch for the HIC as they are solid in quality & never had a problem w/ them since I installed them over a year.

Money. If I find a set of lightly used TRDs I might bite. Plus I would owe Mike a dinner or something to entice him to install them for me. I know how much he loves the Auto Zone rental spring clamps. lol
