How many sq feet did you use for the sound deadening? I am going to do this to my doors.

    Nice list btw.

Thanks - so far, I've used 25sq ft. That includes 3 doors, rear hatch door and rear hatch floor. I haven't done the driver's door yet. I bought 50sq ft but it's way too much unless I do more!

Yeah, that's the one. I finished my last door tonight, using up 30sq feet in total. I think I'm going to email the company to see if they'll let me return the rest or try to do more of the car or ill sell it. :p

I've never used deadener before, but the material worked well, didn't smell, rolled on easy and I have noticed a big difference sound wise in the car. And it does block out the cold air more too. So I'm quite happy with it.

From all the research I did, I recommend going for a butyl based product over asphalt. It's pricer, but worth it. Gtmat was one of the most affordable butyl products - that's why I went with them.

Finally installed my footwell lights, rearview camera and door sill lights!

Will add pics soon. Didn't see anyone adding footwell/door sill lights yet.

I had a shop do it for me, but they just tapped the door buttons... Seemed pretty simple, but I don't really know car stuff :)

looks nice! how did you end up wiring the door sills and footwell lights? are they on a switch or connected with the dome light? thanks

the door sills are connected to the door buttons - so they turn on and off when you open/close the door.

the footwells are tapped into a 12v switched source - unfortunately they don't turn on w/ the domes. i have to turn them on manually with a remote control :p i wasn't smart enough to know how to hook it up. the place i bought it from does have an option to 'auto-illuminate' when you open the doors, but i didn't buy that kit. i wanted the multi-colour one, so my remote is the way i turn em on.

I didn't wire it, but that's what the installer did. There's buttons on each door that are wired, that tells the car when a door is opened and closed. So you could tap those wires for the sills
