Does anyone know how the back wing/spoiler comes off? I am thinking about mounting a spoiler from a Scion tC on it, just for looks.

Please post pics of this when you figure it out. A walk-through would be great as I plan on adding the Itec Spoiler later on.

they're just attached from underneath with some nuts.. open up the hatch and look.

also... how would you fit a tC spoiler on the Prius C? o_O

btw.. the spoiler you posted above.. was designed for the car. as with the rest of the kit.

the tC spoiler was designed for.. well.. a tC. having come from a scion tC.. i'm very familiar with its spoiler... and still not liking the idea of you putting it on the stock prius C spoiler. it will not flow with the car. besides... you won't be able to mount it correctly nor secure it down the way it was meant to be attached.

^ Why not let him try it out? Stock spoiler can go right back on.

He said he wanted to attach the TC spoiler to the factory spoiler... I think anyhow. I may have misread it.

^ oh hmmm, maybe. Still happy to sit back and watch, and grateful for the DIY instructions on R&R for the stock spoiler.

i read it as mounting it on the stock spoiler.. meaning he's going to drill into the stock spoiler to mount it..

I have ordered it and I'm hoping to have it by this weekend. It was only $150 painted and shipped. I will be taping it on to get a good look at it, if I like it I'll mount it. But if mounting is not possible or WAY too involved, I might abandon it. Then again, you might be right I might think it looks stupid. lol. Worst case scenario I put it on and don't like it or jack up my stock spoiler, which I can just order another one $350 and be out $500, life goes on. I'll post pics and some instructions if it works.

Ok, here's the problem, the "feet" are too long and don't fit on the C. I might have to look at another spoiler.

Are you aware of the extended "wing" spoiler that exists in Japan and on the Australian i-Tech model? It's certainly not the full-on wing shown in the photos you posted, but it's quite nice. I wouldn't know for sure, but I'm guessing there's probably a good chance that it will fit as a straight swap from the standard short spoiler.

^ That is a straight swap I have one coming in this week. You can purchase them color-matched to your car from Japan.
