His comment sought and received clarification. I encourage anyone who may feel paranoid from any comments here to do the same.

At the same time, if they find "it" as in modification caused it, then yes, it will. I guess just as his blind statement about "you guys with new cars and trailer hitches", it can. It's not default once you install it it voids it. It's if they find it caused it so depends on user.

With rear seats down, my hybrid bike (700c wheels, flat bars) fits in fine without removing anything. I use a canvasback to protect the carpet & seatbacks.

Hmm, I've never tried it with just one seat folded, I'll have to try that!

A yeah, that was such a rude tone(sarcasm). Which word was it exactly? and how is it remotely brash? The word "guess" is brash? I was simply telling him I posted a photo, and to check it out. This happens so often through the internet.

To clear the air, I honestly didn't like the grouping statement you made, "you guys with new cars and trailer hitches." We' ve offered solutins to OP. Instead you groups us as guys messing up our cars and voiding the warranty? That wasn't very eloquent.

NTL, hope this clears it up.

Here's the rack installed on my Prius. Pretty sturdy for a $70-80 rack.[IMG]

Hmm, don't know how I missed that; That's with the front wheel off, though. I find it really great that I can slide my bike in whole. Big selling point for me!

That was to show you can still use 1 rear seat and store a bike in the car too.

hi - I bought this rack and have just learned it is nearly impossible to find a class 2 hitch for a 2011 Prius. (Which supposedly is required) Did you install this on a Class 1? Any issues at all related to hitch and weight? Yakima tells me they know of NO ONE who has EVER installed a Holdup on a Prius. :-P Just trying to cover all the bases. Thank you!
