Why does Toyota think Hybrid Owners like dancing around like there is a gas leak somewhere? And what is it with the High School dance team impersonations of dancing tree's and bush's?

Meh...I just don't like it.

Too many "Non-Hybrid" types already think The Prius represents a mindless hive mentality of smug individuals who believe everyone should be just like them. This commercial only perpetuates that invalid stereotype.

Ok, Prius owners (Hybrid in General) aren't a cult. So is it really necessary to dance around repeating "Join Us" non-stop? I like hybrids, I love Prius...and I was like....." Tone it Down guys". Last time I saw a recruitment movement that scary I was watching "Invasion of The Body Snatchers".

The "message" was great. That Hybrids have been around for a while, evolved and refined. But do we have to once again present that message within the confines of young people looking like they have had too many energy drinks and raided the local High School drama department?

With all the "real" bad stuff in the world today, isn't there worse things to complain about? Prius, Prius forum, Prius people, everyone here is just about in sync. What's wrong with a upbeat, musical, car video, that most of us here drive and swear by?

 

Yikes, that was pretty cheesy.

 

If Toyota did it right . . . there'd be nothing wrong with dancing around. Don't you remember a few years back how well the Casual Mafia troop did it?
It's a clasic.

They do it right. Toyota ought to hire them.
